The Daily Wire observed that the lights were on and the house was brightly lit. It was unclear whether the Kavanaugh family was home.<\/p>\n<p>Police said they are anticipating more protests throughout the week since pro-abortion groups nationally have called for large-scale backlash to news that <em>Roe v. Wade<\/em> may soon be overturned. Ruth Sent Us, one of the groups organizing these protests, has also urged protestors to \u201cstand at or in a local Catholic Church\u201d on Sunday, Mother\u2019s Day.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t think there is a way to change Justice Kavanaugh\u2019s mind, what I think there is, is a way to convince other people there is a fight worth fighting for,\u201d one young man wearing a \u201c1973 to infinity\u201d shirt underneath a rain poncho told The Daily Wire.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd when you look at the 60s and you look at other protest movements throughout this country and throughout the history of protest movements, people need to see that energy and they need to feel that energy so they get up and do something, too,\u201d he said. \u201cWhen enough people disobey, the law is changed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The protestor, who The Daily Wire observed arguing with police as the authorities told him that he could no longer be protesting in the suburban Maryland neighborhood, said that \u201cpeople will tell a friend\u201d about the protesting outside the justices\u2019 homes.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey\u2019ll tell a friend they were here, they made a statement, they felt the power of something, and they\u2019ll go and tell somebody else,\u201d he added. \u201cThat\u2019s people power, that\u2019s how it works, that\u2019s grassroots, that\u2019s the whole heart of it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>WATCH:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Here at Justice Kavanaugh\u2019s house where the protest seems to have mostly cleared out. Wade<\/i>. Following Monday\u2019s news about the draft opinion, protests took place outside the United States Supreme Court in Washington, D.C., in\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.latimes.com\/california\/story\/2022-05-03\/downtown-los-angeles-roe-wade-protest\">Los Angeles<\/a>\u00a0(where protestors violently clashed with\u00a0police) and in\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2022\/05\/03\/nyregion\/abortion-protest-new-york-supreme-court.html\">New York City<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Ruth Sent Us had posted a map on its website that listed the street names where Amy Coney Barrett, John Roberts, Samuel Alito, Brett Kavanaugh, Clarence Thomas, and Neil Gorsuch each live.\u00a0Google\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/map-doxing-conservative-justices-violates-googles-terms-of-service-platform-says\">removed<\/a>\u00a0this map on Friday for violating its terms of service.<\/p>\n<p>Protestors in the justices\u2019 neighborhoods had largely dispersed by about 8:30 p.m. following the arrival of at least five police cars, according to The Daily Signal\u2019s Doug Blair, whose footage shows the crowds chanting as they march through the wealthy neighborhoods.<\/p>\n<p>The Daily Wire observed police <a href=\"https:\/\/law.justia.com\/codes\/maryland\/2010\/criminal-law\/title-3\/subtitle-9\/3-904\">citing state code<\/a> and telling protesters that although they supported their First Amendment rights, they still needed to \u201ccease and desist and leave the area,\u201d noting that if protestors failed to comply, they might be \u201csubject to arrest.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Section 3-904 of the Maryland state code on unlawful picketing and assembly states that the \u201cprotection and preservation of the home is the keystone of democratic government,\u201d noting that members of the community must be able to \u201cenjoy in their homes a feeling of well-being, tranquility, and privacy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Maryland state code also says that \u201cthe practice of picketing before or about residences and dwelling places causes emotional disturbance and distress to the occupants,\u201d adding that \u201cthe purpose of this practice is to harass the occupants of the residences and dwelling places.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Anyone who violates this section of Maryland law is guilty of a misdemeanor and may be \u201csubject to imprisonment not exceeding 90 days or a fine not exceeding $100 or both.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>WATCH:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">The scene in front of Chief Justice John Roberts\u2019 house <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/vJVxxFoMNO\">pic.twitter.com\/vJVxxFoMNO<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Douglas Blair (@DouglasKBlair) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/DouglasKBlair\/status\/1523088909760024576?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">May 7, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">The marchers have made it to what appears to be Justice Kavanaugh\u2019s house. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/c5YJMULMv7\">pic.twitter.com\/c5YJMULMv7<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Douglas Blair (@DouglasKBlair) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/DouglasKBlair\/status\/1523092726333722625?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">May 8, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Protestors arguing with cops.
