Tesla also offers a number of services related to \u201cfamily planning,\u201d according to the report \u2014 such as up to $40,000 for in-vitro fertilization (IVF), $25,000 for adoption, and 16 weeks of paid family leave.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Tesla \u2014 which billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk leads \u2014 is one of several major corporations that now offer to reimburse employees who engage in abortion tourism.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Amazon <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/subsidizing-the-abortion-industry-amazon-to-fund-abortion-tourism-for-its-employees\"><span>announced<\/span><\/a><span> on Monday that it would pay up to $4,000 in travel expenses for employees who want to go out of state to get an abortion. With the new policy, if an employee could not procure an abortion within 100 miles of her home, Amazon would cover travel expenses for the employee.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Meanwhile, iconic jean maker Levi Strauss and Co. <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/levis-will-reimburse-some-employees-for-abortion-related-travel-expenses\"><span>said<\/span><\/a><span> on Wednesday that \u201cunder our current benefits plan, Levi Strauss &#038; Co. employees are eligible for reimbursement for healthcare-related travel expenses for services not available in their home state, including those related to reproductive health care and abortion.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Likewise, investment bank Citigroup <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/investment-bank-will-pay-travel-expenses-so-employees-can-get-abortions-more-easily\"><span>wrote<\/span><\/a><span> in a filing for its April shareholders\u2019 meeting that \u201cin response to changes in reproductive healthcare laws in certain states in the U.S., beginning in 2022 we provide travel benefits to facilitate access to adequate resources.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Some of the corporations\u2019 moves as Justice Samuel Alito\u2019s <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/breaking-supreme-court-strikes-down-roe-v-wade-decision-in-draft-of-majority-opinion-report-says\"><span>draft opinion<\/span><\/a><span> in the case of <\/span><i><span>Dobbs v. Jackson Women\u2019s Health Organization<\/span><\/i><span> was leaked to Politico, confirming that the Supreme Court appears to be poised to overturn <i>Roe v. Wade<\/i> \u2014 the 1973 ruling that claimed a right to privacy in the Fourteenth Amendment that permits women to procure abortions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>In response, President Joe Biden issued a <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/POTUS\/status\/1521485987133771782?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1521485987133771782%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&#038;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.dailywire.com%2Fnews%2Fbiden-issues-response-to-leaked-supreme-court-opinion-draft\"><span>statement<\/span><\/a><span> urging lawmakers to make <\/span><i><span>Roe <\/span><\/i><span>national law. \u201cAt the federal level, we will need more pro-choice Senators and a pro-choice majority in the House to adopt legislation that codifies <\/span><i><span>Roe<\/span><\/i><span>, which I will work to pass and sign into law,\u201d he said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Other Democrats are answering Biden\u2019s call. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) said Thursday that Senate Democrats were <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/schumer-senate-democrats-will-force-a-vote-on-abortion-law-next-week\"><span>planning<\/span><\/a><span> to force a vote on the Women\u2019s Health Protection Act, which would codify <\/span><i><span>Roe<\/span><\/i><span>. The legislation <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/senate-rejects-democrats-attempt-to-gut-state-pro-life-laws\"><span>failed<\/span><\/a><span> by a 46 to 48 margin as recently as February, however.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Meanwhile, state lawmakers are beginning to approve bills that would ban abortion entirely.
