Ben Sasse tore into President Joe Biden\u2019s administration Thursday evening for failing to condemn the targeting of Supreme Court justices.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPresident Biden has an obligation to forcefully condemn the left\u2019s harassment of the Supreme Court,\u201d Sasse said in a statement. \u201cProgressive activists published the home addresses of Supreme Court Justices and the White House dismissed it as \u2018a lot of passion.\u2019 That doesn\u2019t cut it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDon\u2019t pretend this is an isolated incident,\u201d he warned. \u201cTwo years ago, Chuck Schumer stood on the Supreme Court steps and spat threats at Justices Gorsuch and Kavanaugh. For months progressive partisans have worked to delegitimize the Court, and now activists are doxxing the Justices\u2019 homes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis isn\u2019t how adults act,\u201d Sasse said. \u201cThis isn\u2019t how American self-government works. President Biden knows this is dangerous and he ought to have the guts to say it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>On Thursday afternoon, Fox News reporter Peter Doocy asked White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki if Biden condones the publishing of the Supreme Court justices locations.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIs that the sort of thing this president wants?\u201d he asked.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think the president\u2019s view is that there is a lot of passion,\u201d she responded. The White House has not responded to further requests for comment from The Daily Wire.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Doocy: &#8220;These activists posted a map with the home addresses of the Supreme Court justices. One of these groups, Ruth Sent Us, is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/catholic-vote-calls-on-devout-catholic-biden-to-condemn-threats-to-disrupt-catholic-masses\">calling for protestors<\/a> to \u201cstand at or in a local Catholic Church\u201d on Sunday, Mother\u2019s Day.<\/p>\n<p>Ruth Sent Us additionally announced \u201cwalk-by Wednesday,\u201d urging protestors to come to \u201cthe\u00a0homes of the six extremist justices, three in Virginia and three in Maryland\u201d on May 11, and ShutDownDC is advertising a Saturday evening \u201cCandlelight Vigil for\u00a0<i>Roe v. Wade<\/i>,\u201d calling for abortion supporters to \u201cjoin us in a march to Justices Kavanaugh and Roberts\u2019 homes to protest for reproductive freedom!!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The protestors are reacting to a leaked draft opinion showing that the court is likely preparing to overturn\u00a0<i>Roe v. Wade<\/i>. Protests also took place outside the United States Supreme Court in Washington, D.C., in\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.latimes.com\/california\/story\/2022-05-03\/downtown-los-angeles-roe-wade-protest\">Los Angeles<\/a>\u00a0(where protestors violently clashed with\u00a0police) and in\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2022\/05\/03\/nyregion\/abortion-protest-new-york-supreme-court.html\">New York City<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In a Tuesday editorial, the\u00a0Wall Street Journal Editorial Board expressed concerns that an \u201cabortion fanatic\u201d might \u201ccommit an act of violence\u201d in an effort to subvert the court\u2019s expected decision to overturn\u00a0<em>Roe v. Wade<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOne question is how fast the Court should now move to publish its decision in\u00a0<em>Dobbs v. Jackson Women\u2019s Health Organization,\u201d<\/em>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/articles\/the-supreme-court-leak-on-roe-v-wade-samuel-alito-john-roberts-abortion-draft-opinion-11651605792\">the board said<\/a>. \u201cThere\u2019s an argument for getting it out fast to make it a fait accompli.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPolitico said the Alito draft was circulated in February, so the Justices have had ample time to absorb it and respond,\u201d it continued. \u201cWe hate to say this, but some abortion fanatic could decide to commit an act of violence to stop a 5-4 ruling.
