Now that the court appears poised to overturn <em>Roe v. Wade<\/em>, Democrats are ignoring Ruth Bader Ginsburg\u2019s belief that nine is\u00a0\u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/thefdrlst.wpengine.com\/2020\/09\/22\/ruth-bader-ginsburg-opposed-democrats-extreme-proposal-to-pack-the-court\/\">a good number<\/a>,\u201d and calling for adding extra justices.  <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><\/figure>\n<p>On the campaign trail, Biden <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/kiAWlE2g88I\">repeatedly refused<\/a> to state his beliefs about court-packing. While he once called the unprecedented practice a \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/politics\/biden-called-court-packing-a-bonehead-idea-during-1983-hearing\/\">bonehead idea<\/a>,\u201d he did create a court-packing commission to evaluate just how useful it would be to his administration to add justices.<\/p>\n<p>That commission later <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/PhilipWegmann\/status\/1448764002029473799?s=20&#038;t=IMPOapE5Tbd0x5OO7t0AvQ\">admitted<\/a> its members \u201care divided on whether Court expansion would be wise.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"387\" src=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/Screen-Shot-2022-05-06-at-7.51.56-AM-1024x387-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-272064\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/Screen-Shot-2022-05-06-at-7.51.56-AM-1024x387-1.png 1024w, https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/Screen-Shot-2022-05-06-at-7.51.56-AM-300x113.png 300w, https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/Screen-Shot-2022-05-06-at-7.51.56-AM-768x290-1.png 768w, https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/Screen-Shot-2022-05-06-at-7.51.56-AM.png 1192w\"><\/figure>\n<p>Meanwhile, here are the Democrats who are using the leaked <em>Dobbs<\/em> opinion to demand that Biden and Congress pack the Supreme Court. <\/p>\n<p>Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer has <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2020\/10\/12\/joe-scarborough-sen-chuck-schumer-franklin-roosevelt-pack-supreme-court\/\">long advocated<\/a> for his party to exercise their \u201cconstitutional right\u201d to pack the court when the time is right. Now that <em>Roe <\/em>is on the line, Schumer said it\u2019s time to act.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGiven the conservative court majority is likely to be around for a while, do Democrats need to look more seriously at court expansion?\u201d a reporter asked Schumer earlier this week.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLook, the bottom line is our first step is to have the vote that we\u2019re going to have next week. And the bottom line is that we\u2019re going to look to these elections in November. And I think it\u2019s going to, the American people are going to speak loudly and clearly that we need some change,\u201d Schumer replied.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><\/figure>\n<p>In addition to claiming that the Supreme Court is \u201cstolen, illegitimate, and far-right,\u201d Sen.
