She was also previously an NBC News political analyst.<\/p>\n<p>Jean-Pierre has held multiple press <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/11\/08\/white-house-private-businesses-move-ahead-joe-biden-vaccine-rule\/\">briefings<\/a> since Biden took office, filling in for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/news\/karine-jean-pierre-white-house-press-briefing-history\/\">first time<\/a> in May 2021.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe [Jean-Pierre] will be the first black woman and the first openly LGBTQ+ person to serve as the White House Press Secretary.
