Legend,\u201d @APompliano <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/APompliano\/status\/1522240024145768448\">tweeted<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Radio host Clay Travis added, \u201c<span class=\"css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0\">Elon <\/span><span class=\"css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-b88u0q r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0\">Musk<\/span><span class=\"css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0\"> will be Twitter\u2019s acting <\/span><span class=\"css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-b88u0q r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0\">CEO<\/span><span class=\"css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0\"> when he takes over in a few months. He told Twitter\u2019s chairman Bret Taylor earlier this month that he does not have confidence in the San Francisco-based company\u2019s management,\u201d Reuters reported in late April. \u201cParag Agrawal, who was named Twitter\u2019s chief executive in November, is expected to remain in his role until the sale of the company to Musk is completed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Also according to CNBC, Musk has secured another $7.14 billion in commitments from a number of hand-picked investors \u2014 \u201cCommitments range from $1 billion from Oracle co-founder Larry Ellison to $5 million from Honeycomb Asset Management, which invested in SpaceX\u201d \u2014\u00a0and Musk is talking to former Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey about investing as well.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTwitter co-founder Jack Dorsey may back it, and Musk is talking to him about the possibility of contributing shares immediately or before the closing of the merger,\u201d CNBC reported.<\/p>\n<p>Musk has been very vocal about his <a href=\"https:\/\/dailywire.com\/news\/im-on-the-warpath-elon-musk-reveals-big-plans-for-twitter\/\">plans for Twitter<\/a>, saying that he wanted the platform to first and foremost be committed to supporting free speech and the most \u201cbroadly inclusive\u201d forum possible.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking from the Met Gala red carpet on Monday, Musk also noted his commitment to ridding the site of \u201cbots.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve also vowed this publicly that we have to get rid of the bots, trolls, scams, and everything. That\u2019s obviously diminishing the user experience and we don\u2019t want people to get tricked out of their money and that kind of thing,\u201d Musk said. \u201cI\u2019m on the warpath!
