Biden\u2019s White House physician declared him \u201chealthy\u201d in November 2021.<\/p>\n<p><span><strong>Fact Check:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The Facebook post alleges that a White House physician has called for Biden\u2019s \u201cimmediate resignation\u201d due to concern over his cognitive ability. The post includes an image of Biden touching his forehead along with text stating \u201cBAD NEWS FOR BIDEN.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNOT FIT TO LEAD! WHITE HOUSE PHYSICIAN DEMANDS Biden\u2019s IMMEDIATE RESIGNATION FOLLOWING HIS \u2018OBVIOUS\u2019 COGNITIVE DECLINE!\u201d reads the post\u2019s caption. <a href=\"https:\/\/checkyourfact.com\/2021\/02\/09\/fact-check-image-joe-biden-asleep-oval-office\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>(RELATED: Does This Image Show Joe Biden Asleep In The Oval Office?)<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This claim is missing context. Republican Texas Rep. Ronny Jackson, who once served as a White House physician in both the Obama and Trump administrations, told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/biden-cognitive-test-russia-ukraine-crisis-ronny-jackson\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Fox News<\/a> in February that he believes Biden is \u201cnot fit to be our president right now\u201d due to his alleged cognitive decline. However, there is no indication that a current serving White House physician has made such a determination. There is no evidence to suggest O\u2019Connor has since changed his opinion.<\/p>\n<p>Jackson and other Republican lawmakers have called for Biden to take a cognitive test, according to the <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2022\/02\/09\/38-republicans-call-for-joe-biden-to-take-cognitive-test\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">New York Post<\/a>.
