I was not just a \u2018lump of cells.\u2019 As you can see, I\u2019m still not just a \u2018lump of cells.\u2019 My life has value.\u201d  <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<span class=\"6xZLd8Kvw3EVobNGzqjUSTgIDaAPuFOW5YlnyCsfrQ9i2hckm70XM1p\"><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Pennsylvania Senate GOP primary debate. Jackson <\/em>draft opinion was a leak or a \u201ctactical operation,\u201d she is pro-life because she believes life in the womb is just as important as life outside it. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy life is valuable, and so are the many lives that find themselves in the womb of their mother, whether in the womb, or towards the end of that life,\u201d she said. <\/p>\n<p>Barnette also cast doubt on her opponent Dr. Mehmet Oz for saying he is pro-life. Up until recently, Oz, who garnered an endorsement from former President Donald Trump, expressed hesitancy at laws restricting abortion and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=nkw8Du6grzA&#038;t=1492s\">lamented that <\/a>before <em>Roe v. Wade<\/em>, women who endured \u201ctraumatic events\u201d and wanted abortions had to turn to \u201ccoat-hanger events.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat is one of the reasons why it was so very disturbing when I saw Mehmet Oz running for this particular race, when I\u2019ve seen him on numerous occasions, specifically at the \u2018Breakfast Club,\u2019 saying that my life was nothing more than an acorn with electrical currents,\u201d Barnette said. \u201cI am wondering if the doctor has now since changed his position on that.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Oz responded that he believes life begins at conception and that \u201cI would never think of harming that child or even nine months earlier,\u201d but just a few months prior, he <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsweek.com\/dr-oz-abortion-fox-news-pennsylvania-1659989\">endorsed abortion in cases of rape, incest, and if the mother\u2019s life is at risk<\/a>. <\/p>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\" \/>\n<p>\n  Jordan Boyd is a staff writer at The Federalist and co-producer of The Federalist Radio Hour.
