The Met Ball that year was held on May 2. Heard filed for divorce against Depp\u00a0on\u00a0May 23, 2016.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cElon \u2013 May 2016 \u2013 met then, Met Ball,\u201d a note from Hughes said, adding, \u201cdated after Johnny.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was heartbroken, my soul felt nothing then,\u201d a note under \u201cElon\u201d said. \u201cEnded March 2018.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"css-cmdiie e1ttcx5v0\">Expert witness for Heard says the actress told her she hit Depp \u2018a number of times\u2019<\/h2>\n<p>Hughes said Wednesday that Heard admitted to her that she hit Depp during a \u201cnumber of instances.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Earlier in the week, Hughes suggested on the stand that Heard engaged in \u201creactive violence\u201d when dealing with Depp. She also said that she believed Depp sexually and physically assaulted Heard during their relationship, based in part on her interviews with Heard starting in September 2019.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJust so I understand your position on this, is it your position that, if Ms. Heard was abused, she gets to hit Mr. Depp?\u201d an attorney for Depp asked Hughes, testing the psychologist\u2019s definition of \u201creactive violence.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s not my opinion,\u201d Hughes responded.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut you know she hits him, right?\u201d the attorney pressed.<\/p>\n<p>Nodding in the affirmative, Hughes answered, \u201cAnd I testified to that.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHow many times did she admit to hitting him?\u201d Depp\u2019s legal team asked.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe indicated a number of times in a number of instances,\u201d Hughes admitted.<\/p>\n<p>Depp\u2019s legal team then played audio of Heard admitting to hitting Depp. Here\u2019s a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/fing-baby-amber-heard-admits-to-hitting-johnny-depp-in-explosive-audio-shared-in-court\">portion<\/a> of that audio transcript:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><em>\u201cYou\u2019ve been in a lot of fights, you\u2019ve been around a long time,\u201d Heard said. \u201cYou didn\u2019t get punched. You got hit. I\u2019m sorry I hit you like this, but I did not punch you.\u00a0I did not f***ing deck you. I f***ing was hitting you. I don\u2019t know what the motion of my actual hand was.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cBut you\u2019re fine,\u201d the actress told Depp. \u201cI did not hurt you, I did not punch you, I was hitting you.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cI\u2019m not sitting here b****ing about, am I? You are. That\u2019s the difference between me and you.\u00a0You\u2019re a f***ing baby,\u201d she added. \u201cYou are such a baby! Grow the f*** up, Johnny.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\u201cDo you agree with Ms. Heard that it\u2019s \u2018admirable\u2019 to retreat from a fight?\u201d Depp\u2019s team asked Hughes, referring to Heard in the audio calling her then-husband \u201cadmirable\u201d to leaving during the fight.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is admirable to retreat from a fight,\u201d Hughes answered, agreeing that this fight would not qualify as an \u201cinstance of reactive violence\u201d from Heard, if the audio was \u201ctrue.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2><b>Heard describes \u2018cavity search\u2019 by Depp<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>Heard became <a href=\"https:\/\/www.news.com.au\/entertainment\/celebrity-life\/amber-heard-recounts-first-time-johnny-depp-allegedly-hit-her\/news-story\/29214c32eb2b23c153dd2c7e0aeed164\">emotional<\/a> on the stand as she recalled an alleged instance of Depp performing what she called a \u201ccavity search\u201d on her in May 2013.<\/p>\n<p>The actress <a href=\"https:\/\/www.independent.co.uk\/news\/world\/americas\/amber-heard-depp-cavity-search-b2071800.html\">testified<\/a> that Depp ripped off her underwear and put his fingers into her vagina against her will, moving them around while apparently looking for drugs.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt became clear he was looking for something,\u201d Heard said, recalling Depp asking her, \u201cWhere are you hiding it?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Depp then started \u201cpatting me down,\u201d Heard said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe rips my dress \u2026 he\u2019s grabbing my breasts, he\u2019s touching my thighs, he rips my underwear off,\u201d the actress continued. \u201cHe then proceeds to do a cavity search \u2026 He said he was looking for his drugs, his cocaine.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2><b>More poop: Heard\u00a0testifies that she cleaned up Depp after he \u2018lost control of his bowels\u2019<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>Heard testified Wednesday that she had to clean up Depp when he would vomit on himself or lose \u201ccontrol of his bowels\u201d after abusing substances.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDepp would pass out and lose control of his body \u2014 and everyone in his circle was forced to clean up after him and afraid to confront him about it, Amber Heard said on the stand,\u201d an Australian outlet <a href=\"https:\/\/www.news.com.au\/entertainment\/celebrity-life\/amber-heard-recounts-first-time-johnny-depp-allegedly-hit-her\/news-story\/29214c32eb2b23c153dd2c7e0aeed164\">reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI cleaned up after him,\u201d the actress said. \u201cThis man lost control of his bowels and I cleaned up after him.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Heard also testified that she witnessed Depps\u2019 \u201csecurity guards change his pants in front of her, which prompted the actor to chuckle from his seat in the courtroom,\u201d the report added.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe passed out in his own sick \u2026 and then he\u2019d walk around saying he didn\u2019t have a problem,\u201d Heard said.<\/p>\n<p>Heard classified Depp as \u201cthe love of my life\u201d \u2014 with a dark side.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd that other thing was awful,\u201d she said of Depp\u2019s substance abuse. \u201cAwful thing that would come out and take over and you couldn\u2019t see the Johnny I loved underneath it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Notably, earlier in the trial, Depp testified that Heard pooped in the couple\u2019s bed, and later tried to blame it on the pair\u2019s dogs.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey\u2019re teacup Yorkies,\u201d Depp testified, <a href=\"https:\/\/ew.com\/celebrity\/johnny-depp-testifies-feces-bed-amber-heard-defamation-trial\/\">according<\/a> to Entertainment Weekly. \u201cThey weigh about 4 pounds each. The photograph that I saw \u2014 I lived with those dogs for many years.
