Wade<\/i>, abortion supporters protested outside the United States Supreme Court on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Protests also took place in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.latimes.com\/california\/story\/2022-05-03\/downtown-los-angeles-roe-wade-protest\">Los Angeles<\/a> (where protestors violently clashed with\u00a0police) and in\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2022\/05\/03\/nyregion\/abortion-protest-new-york-supreme-court.html\">New York City<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Now it appears that Supreme Court justices in Maryland and Virginia will be targeted by similar protests.\u00a0The progressive activist group Ruth Sent Us announced \u201cwalk-by Wednesday,\u201d urging protestors to come to \u201cthe\u00a0homes of the six extremist justices, three in Virginia and three in Maryland.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe radical Left and their dark money funders have one goal, which is to intimidate the Court,\u201d Judicial Crisis Network President Carrie Severino told The Daily Wire on Wednesday evening. \u201cShowing up at the justices\u2019 homes to harass them is absolutely beyond the pale and shows the lengths to which they are willing to go in order to undermine the Court\u2019s independence.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>On its website, the group listed the street names where each justice supposedly lives with their families:\u00a0Amy Coney Barrett, John Roberts, Samuel Alito, Brett Kavanaugh, Clarence Thomas, and Neil Gorsuch.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf you\u2019d like to join or lead a peaceful protest, let us know,\u201d the activist group said, adding in another message, \u201cOur 6-3 extremist Supreme Court routinely issues rulings that hurt women, racial minorities, LGBTQ+ and immigrant rights. We must rise up to force accountability using a diversity of tactics.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>ShutDownDC is also advertising a Saturday evening \u201cCandlelight Vigil for <i>Roe v. Wade<\/i>,\u201d calling for abortion supporters to \u201cjoin us in a march to Justices Kavanaugh and Roberts\u2019 homes to protest for reproductive freedom!!\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">The Left posted a website with the justices&#8217; private addresses. Protestors are being asked to go directly to their homes (some have families and small children). Pray hard for the safety of the 5 justices.<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 CatholicVote.org (@CatholicVote) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/CatholicVote\/status\/1521901756074012673?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">May 4, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>ShutDownDC also <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/09\/13\/abortion-protest-kavanaugh-home-maryland-activists\/\">led protestors<\/a> to Kavanaugh\u2019s home in September, expressing anxieties that their ability to get abortions would soon be inhibited through a Supreme Court decision on <em>Dobbs vs. Jackson Women\u2019s Health Organization<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Kavanaugh\u2019s family did not appear to be home while the protestors were outside the house, which was heavily guarded by police. The protestors chanted and yelled outside Kavanaugh\u2019s home, located in a quiet Maryland neighborhood, but did not touch the house or commit any acts of violence.<\/p>\n<p>The group also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shutdowndc.org\/updates\/shutdowndc-drops-in-on-senator-josh-hawleys-house-to-encourage-him-to-reconsider-his-attack-on-democracy\">protested<\/a> at Republican Missouri Sen. Josh Hawley\u2019s Virginia home in January. The senator said that he was not home at the time, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/HawleyMO\/status\/1346308783325253633?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1346308783325253633%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&#038;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.wusa9.com%2Farticle%2Fnews%2Flocal%2Fprotests%2Fprotesters-hold-vigil-at-sen-hawley-home-in-virginia%2F65-c0a1465b-ee7f-4865-9f36-23471b760778\">warning<\/a>, \u201cMy family &#038; I will not be intimidated by leftwing violence.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMuch more soon,\u201d promised ShutDownDC following it\u2019s advertisement about the upcoming protests. \u201cKeep loving, keep fighting.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Tonight while I was in Missouri, Antifa scumbags came to our place in DC and threatened my wife and newborn daughter, who can\u2019t travel. Wade<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOne question is how fast the Court should now move to publish its decision in\u00a0<em>Dobbs v. Jackson Women\u2019s Health Organization,\u201d<\/em> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/articles\/the-supreme-court-leak-on-roe-v-wade-samuel-alito-john-roberts-abortion-draft-opinion-11651605792\">the board said<\/a>. \u201cThere\u2019s an argument for getting it out fast to make it a fait accompli.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPolitico said the Alito draft was circulated in February, so the Justices have had ample time to absorb it and respond,\u201d it continued. \u201cWe hate to say this, but some abortion fanatic could decide to commit an act of violence to stop a 5-4 ruling. Wade.\u00a0<\/em>The news has sparked nationwide protests and frenzy as pro-abortion rights supporters grapple with the potential that <em>Roe v. Wade<\/em> could soon be overturned.<\/p>\n<p>All of the justices targeted by Ruth Sent Us voted with Alito, according to Politico, except the Chief Justice.
