Maroney is a character in the satirical sitcom television series \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt0496424\/fullcredits\/?ref_=tt_ql_cl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">30 Rock<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The photo predates the Academy Awards incident. A nearly identical version of the image can be found on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gettyimages.com\/detail\/news-photo\/hollywood-star-will-smith-gestures-as-he-visits-the-taj-news-photo\/1048785238?adppopup=true\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Getty Images<\/a> along with a caption that indicates it was taken in October 2018. \u201cHollywood star Will Smith gestures as he visits the Taj Mahal in Agra on October 10, 2018,\u201d reads the photo\u2019s caption.<\/p>\n<p>Smith <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/watch\/?v=715350625505596\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">shared<\/a> a short clip of himself a the Taj Mahal on his verified Facebook page in October 2018. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/checkyourfact.com\/2022\/03\/30\/fact-check-chris-rock-apology-oscars\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: No, Chris Rock Did Not Issue This Statement Of Apology To Jada Pinkett Smith And Will Smith)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Smith was photographed at a Mumbai, India airport April 23, NDTV <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ndtv.com\/entertainment\/will-smith-pictured-at-the-mumbai-airport-see-pics-2912827\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">reported<\/a>.
