Steve Carra, a <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/republicans\">Republican<\/a>, bought Chick-fil-A for his fellow lawmakers to celebrate news of a <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/watch-lee-says-supreme-court-leak-huge-victory-but-could-delegitimize-the-court\">leaked Supreme Court document<\/a> that suggests <i>Roe v. Wade<\/i> will be overturned. <\/p>\n<p>Carra posted a picture to Facebook of himself holding a tray of <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/chick-fil-a\">Chick-fil-A<\/a> food, calling it \u201cGod\u2019s Chicken.\u201d <\/p>\n<div class=\"Enhancement\">\n<div class=\"Enhancement-item\"><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>In the photo, the Republican also had posted a sign that read \u201cBaby Lives Matter,\u201d a reference to the controversial Black Lives Matter group. <\/p>\n<p>Carra sent an email with the photo to his Democratic and Republican colleagues in the state House, <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.detroitnews.com\/story\/news\/politics\/2022\/05\/03\/michigan-lawmaker-offers-gods-chicken-celebrate-leaked-us-supreme-court-opinion\/9628758002\/\">according to<\/a> the <i>Detroit News.<\/i> <\/p>\n<p><b><a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/restoring-america\/community-family\/where-to-draw-the-line-poll-shows-voter-shift-in-favoring-abortion-ban\">\u2018WHERE TO DRAW THE LINE?\u2019: POLL SHOWS VOTER SHIFT FAVORING ABORTION BAN<\/a><\/b> <\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur office has God\u2019s chicken (and coffee) &#8230; to celebrate the protection of babies\u2019 lives.
