Wade was published by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/news\/2022\/05\/02\/supreme-court-abortion-draft-opinion-00029473\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Politico<\/a>. She then changed her speech using multiple drafts, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/news\/2022\/05\/03\/kamala-harris-supreme-court-abortion-00029813\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">according<\/a> to the outlet, which cited one anonymous White House official.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf the court overturns Roe v. Wade, it will be a direct assault on freedom, on the fundamental right of self-determination,\u201d Harris <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=sgLcdKN1iCg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">said<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThose Republican leaders who are trying to weaponize the use of the law against women. Well, we say: \u2018How dare they? How dare they tell a woman what she can and cannot do with her own body?&#8217;\u201d Harris continued.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHow dare they? How dare they try to stop her from determining her own future? How dare they try to deny women their rights and their freedoms?\u201d she added.<\/p>\n[embedded content]\n<p>President Joe Biden did not deliver a speech on the leak Tuesday or Monday, instead publishing a <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/05\/03\/joe-biden-rallies-voters-midterms-roe-v-wade-draft-opinion-abortion\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">statement<\/a> and taking questions from reporters before boarding Air Force One. Biden attempted to rally voters to vote Democrat in November to protect the federal right to abortion. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/05\/03\/joe-biden-rallies-voters-midterms-roe-v-wade-draft-opinion-abortion\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: REPORT: Justice Roberts \u2018Likely\u2019 To Order\u00a0<span class=\"il\">FBI<\/span> Investigation Into SCOTUS Leak)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt will fall on our nation\u2019s elected officials at all levels of government to protect a woman\u2019s right to choose,\u201d Biden said in his statement. \u201cAnd it will fall on voters to elect pro-choice officials this November.
