The 26-year-old \u201cGame of Thrones\u201d alum is currently expecting her second baby with Joe Jonas. The pair already share a 20-month-old daughter, Willa.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cIt\u2019s what life is about for me \u2014 raising the next generation,\u201d Turner told Elle UK in an <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.elle.com\/uk\/life-and-culture\/culture\/a39892076\/sophie-turner-june-cover-star\/\"><span>interview<\/span><\/a><span>. \u201cThe greatest thing in life is seeing my daughter go from strength to strength. We\u2019re so excited to be expanding the family. It\u2019s the best blessing ever.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The actress, who is starring in the upcoming HBO Max crime drama \u201cThe Staircase,\u201d also discussed how motherhood has made her less \u201ccool,\u201d but not necessarily in a bad way.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cI used to be so rock \u2019n\u2019 roll and spontaneous,\u201d she explained during the conversation. \u201cI\u2019m sure there\u2019s a part of me that\u2019s still like that, deep down. But becoming a mum, you just become way less cool. I\u2019m like an old woman.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Turner explained to her toddler daughter that she\u2019s having a baby and that Willa will be a big sister, but the \u201cDark Phoenix\u201d star doesn\u2019t think Willa grasps the concept of a human sibling growing inside of her.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cI\u2019ll point to my stomach and say, \u2018What\u2019s in there?\u2019 And she\u2019ll go, \u2018Baby.\u2019 But then she points to her own stomach and says, \u2018Baby,\u2019 and then she\u2019ll point to her dad\u2019s tummy and say, \u2018Baby,\u2019\u201d the actress told Elle UK.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cSo, I think she just thinks that a belly is a baby and that\u2019s the name for it. But she is a lot clingier than normal, so I think she has an idea. She wants Mummy all of the time \u2013 she\u2019s claiming her territory.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Turner made headlines in 2019 for her commitment to boycott projects that led her to work in states with pro-life legislation in place.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Former co-star Jessica Chastain also signed the letter. \u201cThere\u2019s a letter going around that I signed saying I\u2019m not going to work in any state that denies rights for women, for the LGBTQ community, for anyone,\u201d Chastain said. \u201cI\u2019m not going to work in a state that discriminates.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cI have yet to tell my agents I signed it,\u201d Turner added, according to <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/news\/sophie-turner-and-jessica-chastain-say-they-wont-work-in-states-with-abortion-bans\/\"><span>CBS News<\/span><\/a><span>. \u201cThey\u2019re going to be like, \u2018What? You can\u2019t work in these states?\u2019 Yeah, I can\u2019t work in these states.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>That wasn\u2019t the first time Turner made her thoughts on abortion known. The actress shared an image of a few alleged quotes on rape by several Republicans to <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/BxiP37rBwAG\/?utm_source=ig_embed&#038;ig_rid=c6da59cd-7fab-466a-9924-2fb3f0b62d47\"><span>Instagram<\/span><\/a><span> and wrote in the caption: \u201cShame on you.
