The website <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wearedcaction.org\/antiracist\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">advertises<\/a> a list of &#8220;antiracist principles,&#8221;\u00a0states that &#8220;structural racism&#8221; blocks &#8220;economy opportunity for Black and brown children, youth, and their families,&#8221; argues for lowering the voting age and making D.C. a state, promotes a minimum-wage hike, and calls for the government to provide every D.C. resident with housing.<\/p>\n<p>While Mikva Challenge says it is nonpartisan, it focuses on &#8220;issues of identity, equity, justice, fairness, and change,&#8221; and its 2021 <a href=\"https:\/\/mikvachallenge.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Annual-Report-2021.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">annual report<\/a> is filled with left-wing talking points on &#8220;income inequality,&#8221; &#8220;abortion rights,&#8221; and &#8220;the spread of misinformation.&#8221; The group was founded by the late Democratic congressman and Bill Clinton White House counsel Abner Mikva. Among its sponsors are the AFL-CIO and the Bill &#038; Melinda Gates Foundation.<\/p>\n<p>Racine sued Trump&#8217;s company and inaugural committee for improperly hosting a private party in 2017 and overpaying for event space at the Trump International Hotel. Racine also claimed the Trump Organization misused $1.1 million, but a D.C. Superior Court judge threw out that charge.<\/p>\n<p>Inaugural committee lawyer Lee Blalack called Racine&#8217;s claims &#8220;baseless&#8221; and said his client settled to avoid litigation costs.
