And if fact not issuing a final opinion would allow the Left to really\u00a0ramp up this campaign of intimidation and threats to try and force the court to change course, which is exactly why this opinion was leaked.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>March for Life President Jeanne Mancini said late Monday night that the organization would not be commenting on the draft opinion, but noted that March for Life believes \u201cthat given the leak the court should issue a ruling as soon as possible.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis leak was meant to corrupt the process,\u201d she said. \u201cIt is heartbreaking that some abortion advocates will stoop to any level to intimidate the court no matter what the consequences.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">We also believe that given the leak the court should issue a ruling as soon as possible. <\/p>\n<p>This leak was meant to corrupt the process. Wade<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p>The draft majority opinion, which is not final, says <em>Roe v. Wade<\/em> was egregiously wrong. \u201cWe hold that <i>Roe<\/i> and <i>Casey<\/i> must be overruled,\u201d Justice Samuel Alito wrote.\u00a0\u201cIt is time to heed the Constitution and return the issue of abortion to the people\u2019s elected representatives.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The unprecedented leak has sent shockwaves throughout Washington, with many commentators noting that a draft decision has never been publicly released in the modern history of the court.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe leak appears to be totally political in nature, not only intended to damage the Court and pressure the justices, but more immediately to incite Democrats to push their laundry list of terrible anti-life ideas, including blowing up the filibuster and attempting to codify abortion violence at the federal level prior to the November elections,\u201d Katie Glenn, Government Affairs Counsel at Americans United for Life (AUL), told The Daily Wire late Monday evening.<\/p>\n<p>On Tuesday, Chief Justice John Roberts\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.axios.com\/justice-roberts-abortion-leak-da48f1b2-087f-4a43-b037-068be226ce2c.html?stream=top&#038;utm_source=alert&#038;utm_medium=email&#038;utm_campaign=alerts_all\">released<\/a>\u00a0a statement confirming that the draft document is real, but emphasizing that it did not represent the Supreme Court\u2019s final decision.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe at the Court are blessed to have a workforce \u2014 permanent employees and law clerks alike \u2014 intensely loyal to the institution and dedicated to the rule of law,\u201d the chief justice said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis was a singular and egregious breach of that trust that is an affront to the Court and the community of public servants who work here,\u201d he added, noting that he has \u201cdirected the Marshal of the Court to launch an investigation into the source of the leak.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em>The Daily Wire is one of America\u2019s fastest-growing conservative media companies for breaking news, investigative reporting, sports, podcasts, in-depth analysis, books, and entertainment for a reason: because we believe in what we do.
