The officer has been suspended while OPR investigates the incident,\u201d the USCP spokesperson said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>The department spokesman did not respond to questions about the officer\u2019s identity or how long the department expects the investigation to take. \u201cAt this time, we cannot say more as this is an open investigation,\u201d the spokesman said in an email.<\/p>\n<p>The officer allegedly shot his USCP-issued firearm through a desk around 8:00 am Tuesday with no reported injuries, according to Fox News\u2019 Congressional reporter Chad Pergram.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">2) Round went through a desk.
