A Department of Defense (DOD) spokesperson denied the claim. The rumor stems from a website that says it posts \u201chumor, parody, and satire.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><span><strong>Fact Check:\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The Facebook post includes a screenshot of an article claiming the U.S. military raided a Moderna warehouse and destroyed over 250,000 vials of the company\u2019s COVID-19 vaccine. The article cites an unidentified source from U.S. Marines General <a href=\"https:\/\/www.marines.mil\/CM\/Biographies\/Bio-Display\/Article\/2478607\/gen-david-h-berger\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">David H. Berger<\/a>\u2018s office as the source of the claim.<\/p>\n<p>There is no evidence suggesting a raid has taken place in the area or against a warehouse containing vaccines. There are no credible <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/search?q=moderna+warehouse+military+raid&#038;source=lnms&#038;tbm=nws&#038;sa=X&#038;ved=2ahUKEwiqzuyo0sH3AhVDHc0KHcotClAQ_AUoAXoECAEQAw&#038;biw=1440&#038;bih=821&#038;dpr=2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">news reports<\/a> about such a development. Neither the DOD nor Marine Corps has issued any <a href=\"https:\/\/www.defense.gov\/News\/releases\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">press <\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.marines.mil\/News\/Press-Releases\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">releases<\/a> documenting any raids on a warehouse owned by the pharmaceutical company.
