Wade, but the decision is not yet final.\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Legal experts called for an immediate decision, fearing that the court\u2019s integrity and justices\u2019 safety were at risk as the decision hangs in the balance.\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>\u201cLeading Democrat politicians have threatened justices by name, and their left-wing supporters have shown up at justices\u2019 homes,\u201d Mike Davis, former clerk for Justice Neil Gorsuch, told the Daily Caller New Foundation.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Legal experts urged an immediate Supreme Court ruling on Dobbs v. Jackson Women\u2019s Health, a case that directly challenges Roe v. Wade, after a draft decision was reportedly leaked to Politico Monday evening showing the majority favored overturning Roe.<\/p>\n<p>Prominent attorneys said the <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/05\/02\/supreme-court-roe-v-wade-samuel-alito-politico\/\">leak<\/a> threatened both the safety of justices and the <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/05\/02\/supreme-court-overturn-roe-v-wade-dobbs-jackson-womens-health-abortion\/\">integrity<\/a> of the Court by creating an opportunity for intense public pressure before the final vote is made in Dobbs. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/05\/03\/justice-roberts-fbi-investigation-scotus-leak\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: REPORT: Justice Roberts \u2018Likely\u2019 To Order FBI Investigation Into SCOTUS Leak)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is clearly part of an intimidation campaign, and the left has shown it will stop at nothing to protect their financial backers in the abortion industry,\u201d Mike Davis, former clerk for Justice Neil Gorsuch and president of the Article III Project told the Daily Caller News Foundation. \u201cLeading Democrat politicians have threatened justices by name, and their left-wing supporters have shown up at justices\u2019 homes.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"yj6qo ajU\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">3. The Court must issue its decision immediately,\u201d Davis <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/mrddmia\/status\/1521302361842470912\">wrote<\/a>\u00a0on Twitter. \u201cTo end this unprecedented, very dangerous assault on the Court\u2019s judicial independence and justices\u2019 safety, the Chief Justice should issue Justice Alito\u2019s majority opinion tomorrow.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Law Professor Josh Blackman told the DCNF the Court should issue a final opinion as soon as possible and publish its full opinion at a later date.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>\u201cThe Supreme Court should promptly release a short decision that overrules Roe v. Wade,\u201d Blackman said. \u201cThe Justices can take their time to publish a fully-reasoned decision by the end of June. The longer this scandal drags on, the risk grows for more leaks and pressure on the Court.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">If this story is true, the Court should issue its opinion right away. Several prominent liberals also <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/05\/02\/rachel-maddow-liberals-praise-supreme-court-leaker-dobbs-v-jackson-womens-health-roe-v-wade\/\">praised<\/a> the leaker as a hero for allowing the public to pressure justices into potentially changing their vote before the final decision.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf this story is true, the Court should issue its opinion right away,\u201d Andrew McCarthy, legal commentator and former chief assistant U.S. attorney said. \u201cOtherwise the disgraceful leak wins. I would say that if my side lost. If we lose the integrity of the Court\u2019s process, we lose the Court.
