Wade<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s the left\u2019s worst nightmare. They\u2019re about to lose their grip on the bogus legal precedent from 1973 that undergirds the foundation of their platform and aims. It\u2019s the decision that, to this day, enables them to carry out their values of convenience, population control, and pandering by dehumanizing unborn children before dismembering them and calling it \u201cempowerment.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s probably why they leaked the opinion. <\/p>\n<p>Sure, we don\u2019t yet know all the facts of the current situation, so we don\u2019t <em>know<\/em> who surrendered the document \u2014 showing at least a 5-4 majority for conservatives on <em>Dobbs<\/em> \u2014 to the press. But it doesn\u2019t take Einstein to piece this one together. <\/p>\n<p>First, the left is desperate. They\u2019re <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/04\/28\/republicans-jump-to-10-point-lead-in-generic-ballot-test-new-fdrlst-susquehanna-poll-shows\/\">severely underwater<\/a> headed into the midterms and need something to draw out the Democrat vote, and it\u2019s not going to be the economy or foreign policy or Covid. A threat to their beloved abortion access could be the golden ticket. <\/p>\n<p>Second, with a conservative SCOTUS majority and clear public opinion against the evils of abortion, the left has always faced an uphill battle with <em>Dobbs<\/em>, but bullying the court could be a hail Mary. It\u2019s common knowledge that <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2020\/07\/01\/john-roberts-leftist-activism-was-a-big-screw-you-to-women\/\">Chief Justice John Roberts\u2019 fidelity<\/a> is to his own public image <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2020\/06\/19\/7-times-john-roberts-was-a-leftist-hack\/\">over the Constitution<\/a>, and what about fresh faces such as Justices Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, and Amy Coney Barrett? The public now knows for the first time the trio\u2019s written intent to strike <em>Roe<\/em> as bad law \u2014 but <em>before<\/em> it\u2019s published. It\u2019s a recipe for harassment, threats, and intimidation to swing their opinions before they\u2019re codified.<\/p>\n<p>Third, we know that the iconoclastic left is committed to tearing down foundations from the family and the church, to monuments and our history, to the very meaning of \u201csex.\u201d The Supreme Court is no exception, and we know this not only because they are actually saying \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/TyCardon\/status\/1521317350146027521?s=20&#038;t=3JH1ysjUnjvgHhlP2Jj_gg\">Let\u2019s burn this place down<\/a>\u201d out loud, but also because any time they realize they can\u2019t get their way through legislation, they entertain the idea of packing the Supreme Court with progressive activists who will legislate from the bench. <\/p>\n<p>But even more than all those things, we also know the history of the left on abortion itself: They will do absolutely anything just so they can kill babies. <\/p>\n<p>During the Obama administration, the left used the Internal Revenue Service and its chief of tax exemptions, Lois Lerner, to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.christianpost.com\/news\/a-timeline-of-the-irs-targeting-of-conservative-evangelical-and-pro-life-groups-scandal.html\">persecute conservative nonprofits<\/a>. This included <a href=\"https:\/\/www.christianpost.com\/news\/irs-harassment-continued-despite-promises-it-would-stop-pro-life-groups-say-101409\/\">harassing<\/a> pro-life groups, which continued even after the scandal came to light.<\/p>\n<p>When he was attorney general of California, Xavier Becerra, a pro-abortion extremist who now heads Biden\u2019s Department of Health and Human Services, sued the Little Sisters of the Poor, an order of nuns that provides shelter for poor elderly people, over abortion coverage. As The Federalist\u2019s Tristan Justice <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2021\/02\/24\/bidens-hhs-nominee-xavier-becerra-falsely-claimed-he-never-sued-nuns-over-abortion-coverage\/\">characterized<\/a> it, Becerra \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/v2-9mdnszte.thefederalist.com\/2020\/12\/07\/joe-biden-to-nominate-pro-abortion-extremist-xavier-becerra-for-hhs-secretary\/\">weaponized<\/a>\u00a0the full power of the administrative state\u201d against the nuns to bully them into compliance with Obamacare\u2019s contraceptive mandate.<\/p>\n<p>In the runup to the 2016 election, Democrats including Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama spied on then-candidate Donald Trump as part of a plan to weasel feminist champion Clinton into the White House. When they failed spectacularly, the left continued the persecution of then-President Trump, who vowed to nominate jurists who faithfully apply the Constitution, and his allies through the duration of his presidency with more spying, slimy investigations, and attempts to remove him from office.<\/p>\n<p>When Trump appeared to deliver on his promise by nominating Kavanaugh to the bench, the left concocted a gang rape hoax against him. They threatened to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/story\/news\/politics\/onpolitics\/2018\/09\/20\/death-threats-brett-kavanaugh-christine-blasey-ford\/1371995002\/\">kill him and his family<\/a>. They amplified fake witnesses. They dragged him through an unconscionably malicious confirmation process. They lionized his accuser and slandered his name.<\/p>\n<p>In 2020, when the right was energized to re-elect Trump to a second term and the left had nothing better than an incoherent Joe Biden hiding in a basement, they did everything they could to rig the election against the pro-life champion and for the pro-abortion candidate. They stopped at nothing to cover up the Biden family scandals through blatant censorship, banned the sitting president from his primary channels of communication, stuffed government elections offices with Democrat operatives funded by a tech oligarch, and unlawfully changed or broke voting laws to allow mass mail-in balloting.<\/p>\n<p>These recent examples are hardly an exhaustive list. When the left can\u2019t get enough congressional votes to codify abortion rights through legislation, they threaten to nuke the filibuster to lower their vote threshold, as <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/BernieSanders\/status\/1521308813059444736\">Sen. Bernie Sanders did<\/a> immediately after the <em>Dobbs<\/em> leak. <\/p>\n<p>When the left can no longer convince adults that unborn babies are \u201cclumps of cells,\u201d they resort to <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RBraceySherman\/status\/1513598053864910851\">brainwashing children<\/a> into thinking abortion is wonderful. They <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/politics\/courts_law\/supreme-court-says-crisis-pregnancy-centers-do-not-have-to-tell-women-about-abortion-information\/2018\/06\/26\/d2b9f5c2-7943-11e8-80be-6d32e182a3bc_story.html\">try to force<\/a> anti-abortion centers to provide pro-abortion information to the hurting expectant mothers who walk through their doors. They\u2019re working to force pro-life nurses to violate their consciences and kill babies anyway, even if it <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/04\/19\/biden-administration-wants-to-force-nurses-to-murder-babies-even-if-it-terrorizes-their-souls\/\">terrorizes their own souls<\/a>. And this is hardly an exhaustive list.<\/p>\n<p>The demonic left will stop at nothing to defend its religious ritual of sacrificing babies to the god of self.
