Jackson Women\u2019s Health Organization\u00a0<\/em>would overturn the 1973 case. The decision was expected sometime over the next two months, but after Politico obtained a draft opinion by Justice Samuel Alito and signed by a majority of justices, word spread quickly.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLet\u2019s make a deal: For every one woman who dies from this, one of you goes too,\u201d read a hand-scrawled sign dangling from a coat hanger and held aloft by a woman protesting the apparently pending decision.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_376574\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\">\n<p id=\"caption-attachment-376574\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Pro-abortion rights protesters gathered with hastily made signs after the news broke. In writing that the high court must overturn <em>Roe<\/em> and the related 1992 case,\u00a0<em>Planned Parenthood v Casey,<\/em>\u00a0Alito reportedly wrote that the matter is for states to determine. That means red states are sure to follow Mississippi, where the Dobbs case originated, and place more restrictions \u2013 and perhaps bans \u2013 on abortion.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLegal abortion once and for all!\u201d read one banner held by two members of the Party for Socialism and Liberation. \u201cWe won\u2019t go back. (Mary Margaret Olohan\/The Daily Wire)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Several jubilant pro-lifers gathered to celebrate, though they were<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are going to be here all night standing vigil and we are going to be here all day tomorrow,\u201d said Terrisa Bukovinac, founder of Progressive Anti-Abortion Uprising. \u201cWe are just so, so energized by this news, and we are hoping Roe is history.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The leak has rocked the political world, prompting harsh words from Democrats eager to defend abortion across the U.S.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Republican-appointed Justices\u2019 reported votes to overturn Roe v.
