Andrew Cuomo (D-N.Y.) is feeling the pressure from his reported nursing home deaths cover-up. During an interview on Thursday, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio called the governor\u2019s recent bullying \u201cclassic Andrew Cuomo.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">.<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/NYCMayor?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@NYCMayor<\/a> de Blasio reacts to our interview with NY Assemblyman <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/rontkim?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@RonTKim<\/a>, who says he was threatened by <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/NYGovCuomo?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@NYGovCuomo<\/a>: \u201cThat&#8217;s classic Andrew Cuomo\u2026The bullying is nothing new.&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/nflM2tLyq8\">https:\/\/t.co\/nflM2tLyq8<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/O7HVYyz7vt\">pic.twitter.com\/O7HVYyz7vt<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Morning Joe (@Morning_Joe) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Morning_Joe\/status\/1362408401595228160?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">February 18, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>De Blasio responded to New York Assemblyman Ron Kim\u2019s claims that Cuomo berated him over the phone for ten minutes. Kim said the governor pressured him to change his public statement about his top aide and the state\u2019s handling of nursing home deaths.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI believe Ron Kim and it\u2019s very, very sad. No public servant, no person who is telling the truth should be treated that way,\u201d De Blasio noted. \u201cThe threats, the belittling, the demand that someone change their statement right that moment.
