Other things which would qualify for travel reimbursement include gaining access to cellular gene therapies and cardiology related services.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>American Principles Project President Terry Schilling told The Daily Wire that he was not surprised by the move.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s sadly no surprise to see Amazon assisting in efforts to circumvent pro-life laws,\u201d he said. \u201cAfter all, they have been doing the woke Left\u2019s bidding for years \u2014 from banning conservative books on their platform to partnering with the notoriously partisan Southern Poverty Law Center to block donations to right-leaning groups, among other activities.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><span>The travel expense benefit, including reimbursement for abortion related travel, would apply to \u201ccovered dependents\u201d with Premera or Aetna plans, as well as U.S. workers according to Reuters.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>In general, Amazon employees tend to support liberal politicians, with 85% of <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.opensecrets.org\/orgs\/amazon-com\/totals?id=D000023883\"><span>their<\/span><\/a><span> donations during the 2020 election cycle going to Democrats. MacKenzie Scott, the ex-wife of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/mackenzie-scott-gives-record-breaking-275-million-to-planned-parenthood-will-be-used-to-help-black-women-get-abortions\"><span>donated<\/span><\/a><span> a record $275 million to Planned Parenthood, with money that at least in part came from her stake in Amazon.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Schilling added that Amazon was\u00a0pushing its \u201cwoke agenda even further, subsidizing the abortion industry even as they falsely categorize it as a \u2018non-life threatening\u2019 procedure.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cConservatives by now should be thinking twice before doing business with Amazon, and at the very least, Republican leaders should stop providing any special benefits to a company that is clearly working against the interests of American families,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n<p><span>Amazon, one of the largest private employer in the country, is not the first corporation to announce its funding of \u201cabortion tourism,\u201d a phrase used to describe traveling to obtain an abortion, which ends the life of an abortion child. Yelp and Citigroup both announced earlier this year that they would be paying for their employees travel to get abortions.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cThe ability to control your reproductive health, and whether or when you want to extend your family, is absolutely fundamental to being able to be successful in the workplace,\u201d Yelp\u2019s Chief Diversity Officer Miriam Warren <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2022\/04\/12\/business\/yelp-abortion-employees.html\"><span>said<\/span><\/a><span> earlier this month.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Back in March, Citigroup <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/investment-bank-will-pay-travel-expenses-so-employees-can-get-abortions-more-easily\"><span>revised<\/span><\/a><span> its policies to pay for employees of the investment bank to travel to get abortions.
