<\/p>\n<p>Psaki insists they&#8217;re only &#8220;establish[ing] best practices&#8221; to ensure thwarting &#8220;disinformation&#8221; doesn&#8217;t harm civil liberties <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/xe2uUQeQBp\">pic.twitter.com\/xe2uUQeQBp<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Curtis Houck (@CurtisHouck) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/CurtisHouck\/status\/1521208109435428866?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">May 2, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\u201cJust in terms of what the president wants out of this, does he want the people on this board to start censoring information that is not helpful to him?\u201d Doocy asked.<\/p>\n<p>Psaki did not engage his question directly, pivoting instead to explain what the board was tasked with doing.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWell, let me be clear on exactly what this board does, or what the work they are doing does,\u201d Psaki replied. \u201cIn their announcement, which is publicly available on the Department of Homeland Security website for anyone to read, it says, quote, \u2018The primary mission is to establish best practices to ensure that efforts to understand and respond to disinformation are done in ways that protect privacy, civil rights, and civil liberties, and the right to free speech.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Doocy followed up with a question about Nina Jankowicz, who was tapped to <a href=\"https:\/\/dailywire.com\/news\/my-ears-want-to-commit-suicide-greg-gutfeld-bashes-thought-police-over-new-chiefs-mary-poppins-mash-up\/\">lead the board<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Doocy: &#8220;Nina Jankowicz\u2026is going to be in charge of the board. She has said\u2026the Hunter Biden laptop is Russian disinformation.
