The meeting coincides with looming <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2022\/04\/22\/us\/politics\/democrats-midterms-biden.html\">concerns<\/a> about how Democrats may fare in the upcoming 2022 midterm elections.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m sure they will have a wide-ranging discussion, but he [Biden] spoke with him [Clinton] a couple of weeks ago,\u201d Psaki said Monday. \u201cHe\u2019s had a number of conversations with him over the course of time, since his time in office, and they talked about having lunch just a few weeks ago, so this is an opportunity to do exactly that, and I\u2019m sure they will have a broad conversation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Psaki also said <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/04\/14\/patel-how-history-will-view-the-biden-years\/\">Biden<\/a> lunched with former President <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/04\/05\/barack-obama-returns-white-house-joe-biden-midterms\/\">Barack Obama<\/a> \u201clast week.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>WATCH:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Though Psaki opted out of commenting specifically on the two presidents discussing the midterms, the upcoming election cycle \u2014 for Democrats \u2014 seems poised to be similar to the 1994 midterm election when Clinton was president, The Post reported. The publication noted that Republicans gained a net of eight seats in the Senate and a plethora of seats in the House that year, resulting in a \u201cRepublican revolution.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In an article <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2022\/04\/22\/us\/politics\/democrats-midterms-biden.html\">published<\/a> April 22 by The New York Times, multiple strategists and pollsters expressed concern over the <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/04\/29\/pivotal-primary-races-2022-midterms\/\">impending<\/a> elections.
