looked \u201ctired\u201d as he and other embattled executives <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2022\/04\/27\/twitter-workers-freak-out-over-elon-musk-in-internal-slack-messages\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">fended off questions from upset staffers<\/a> about Elon Musk\u2019s takeover of the firm, leaked details from a companywide meeting revealed.<\/p>\n<p>Workers pressed Agrawal and other top executive at the social media giant on Friday to provide answers to lingering questions about Musk\u2019s $44 billion buyout \u2014 including the likelihood that Twitter will conduct layoffs once the deal closes.<\/p>\n<p>An employee in attendance reportedly described Agrawal \u2014 who will reportedly <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2022\/04\/26\/jack-dorsey-set-for-978m-payday-from-elon-musk-twitter-buy\/\">get a $42 million payout upon completion of the deal<\/a> \u2014 as appearing \u201ctired and at times annoyed\u201d during the meeting, even as he attempted to assuage workers\u2019 fears, according to Business Insider, which <a href=\"https:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/twitter-ceo-all-hands-elon-musk-response-employee-reaction-2022-4\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">obtained leaked audio<\/a> from the all-hands meeting.<\/p>\n<p>Agrawal also expressed a degree of remorse during the call, according to the news site \u2014 telling employees that he wished \u201cwe had done better with lots of things\u201d during talks with Musk.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere are things I disagree with fundamentally,\u201d Agrawal said, without providing specifics.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image seen as the social network\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2022\/04\/26\/elon-musk-says-suspending-ny-post-from-twitter-was-incredibly-inappropriate\/\">top advocate for censoring conservatives<\/a>\u00a0\u2014 was also present during the impromptu companywide meeting and provided more <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2022\/04\/27\/elon-musk-banned-from-criticizing-twitter-under-terms-of-44b-buyout\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">details about the $1 billion breakup fee<\/a> that both Musk and Twitter have agreed to pay if the deal falls apart.<\/p>\n<p>Gadde \u2014 who is <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2022\/04\/29\/twitters-chief-censor-making-17m-per-year-could-be-fired\/\">slated to get a $12.5 million payout<\/a> under terms of Musk\u2019s buyout \u2014 said Musk\u2019s deal with Twitter to buy the firm has \u201cvery strong requirements to perform.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Agrawal acknowledged that Twitter would likely make significant changes under Musk\u2019s leadership \u2014 and didn\u2019t discount the possibility of job cuts.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDifferent organizations have different cultures, but they\u2019ve excelled,\u201d Agrawal said. \u201cIt will be different here than what it is today, but for the people who are here, it will be worth it to be here.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a angered some Twitter employees in recent days through his brash public commentary about changes he feels are necessary for the company to thrive, including a renewed focus on protecting free speech.<\/p>\n<p>The impromptu meeting did little to ease concerns among Twitter staffers wary of Musk\u2019s leadership, one worker told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/technology\/twitter-ceo-faces-employee-anger-over-musk-attacks-company-wide-meeting-2022-04-29\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Reuters<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe PR-speak is not landing.
