No such commercial was released by the WEF.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span><strong>Fact Check:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The Facebook video shows a man talking to a woman at a public transportation center. He asks the woman, who is holding a small child, why she would have a kid if she values protecting the environment.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cNothing uses carbon like a first-world human, yet you created one,\u201d says the man, who then refers to having a child as a \u201cselfish act\u201d and suggests the woman kill the child. <span><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/checkyourfact.com\/2022\/03\/29\/fact-check-world-economic-forum-tweet-internet-reform\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: Did The World Economic Forum Publish This Tweet Calling For The Internet To Be \u2018Reformed\u2019?)<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The end of the video shows a link to a page on the WEF\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.weforum.org\/great-reset\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">website<\/a> about \u201cThe Great Reset,\u201d a real initiative that calls for \u201cglobal stakeholders to cooperate in simultaneously managing the direct consequences of the COVID-19 crisis.\u201d<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cThis video is so disturbing and UNNECESSARY that you would not believe it\u2019s an actual commercial done by the WORLD ECONOMIC FORUM\u2026 smh,\u201d reads the video\u2019s caption.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The video is not an advertisement from the WEF and the ending credit has been digitally edited into the clip. The original video is from a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=rcx-nf3kH_M\">scene<\/a> in the second season of the British TV series \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt2384811\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Utopia<\/a>.\u201d The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=sGZzNrLMSSU\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">episode<\/a> in question, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt3916922\/?ref_=ttep_ep6\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">series finale<\/a>, revolves around a group of people seeking to stop the controlled release of influenza to prevent \u201cglobal disaster,\u201d according to its description.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">There is nothing on the WEF\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.weforum.org\/about\/world-economic-forum\/\">website<\/a> to indicate the organization <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/news\/blogs-trending-49298720\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">supports<\/a> an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.weforum.org\/search?query=children\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">anti-natalist<\/a>\u00a0stance or suggests <a href=\"https:\/\/www.weforum.org\/search?query=children\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">children should be killed<\/a> to prevent an increase in carbon emissions.
