The change.org document garnered more than 2 million signatures demanding that Heard, who plays Princess Mera in the Warner Brothers superhero sequel, be removed from the project.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Johnny Depp\u2019s defamation trial against his ex-wife Heard has been dominating headlines for weeks. The 58-year-old actor decided to bring charges against his ex after claiming his career suffered after her accusations of domestic abuse. The \u201cPirates of the Caribbean\u201d star is seeking to prove that he was the actual victim of abuse in the relationship.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The trial has brought about some truly shocking revelations for both sides. But fans are finding it harder and harder to stay on Team Amber as they find out more details about the alleged abuse Depp suffered during their marriage.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cDo the right thing. Remove Amber Heard from Aquaman 2,\u201d petition creator Jeanne Larson wrote in the document. At other points in the petition, Larson writes how Heard has \u201cbeen exposed as a domestic abuser\u201d and is guilty of \u201cmany examples of domestic abuse.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Larson speaks on one of those alleged incidents in detail. \u201cAbout the incident during which she shattered the bones in Johnny Depp\u2019s finger and nearly severed it, causing Depp to require surgery to reattach and repair it,\u201d Larson wrote. \u201cHe will bear the scar from that for the rest of his life.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cMen are victims of domestic abuse, just like women. This must be recognized, and action must be taken to prevent a known abuser from being celebrated within the entertainment industry,\u201d she continued.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Her goal is to get 3 million signatures. Filming for the movie wrapped in January, which would make Heard\u2019s replacement a costly proposition. The movie is set to be released in 2023.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>During the trial, Heard admits to \u201chitting\u201d Depp but not \u201cpunching\u201d him, and calls her ex a \u201cf***ing baby\u201d for reacting strongly to being physically assaulted, The Daily Wire <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/fing-baby-amber-heard-admits-to-hitting-johnny-depp-in-explosive-audio-shared-in-court\"><span>reported<\/span><\/a><span>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cYou\u2019ve been in a lot of fights, you\u2019ve been around a long time,\u201d Heard said in provided audio. \u201cYou didn\u2019t get punched. You got hit. I\u2019m sorry I hit you like this, but I did not punch you. I did not f***ing deck you. I f***ing was hitting you. I don\u2019t know what the motion of my actual hand was.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cBut you\u2019re fine,\u201d the actress continued, addressing Depp. \u201cI did not hurt you, I did not punch you, I was hitting you.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cI\u2019m not sitting here b****ing about, am I? You are. That\u2019s the difference between me and you. You\u2019re a f***ing baby,\u201d she added. \u201cYou are such a baby!
