McDonald\u2019s confirmed it does not currently have plans to restore snack wraps to nationwide menus in the U.S.<\/p>\n<p><span><strong>Fact Check:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>McDonald\u2019s began phasing out its snack wraps, a popular menu item, in 2015 before removing the product from its locations altogether in 2016, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mashed.com\/327125\/the-truth-about-mcdonalds-snack-wraps\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Mashed<\/a>. An image shared on Facebook claims the company recently announced the item will be returning to McDonald\u2019s menus.<\/p>\n<p>The Facebook image features what appears to be a flyer that features the McDonald\u2019s logo and two snack wraps. \u201cSNACK ATTACK IS BACK,\u201d reads text included in the alleged flyer. Additional text included in the post claims McDonald\u2019s will be introducing a new \u201cHoney Mustard Snack Wrap\u201d on May 15.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe spoke it into existence \u2026\u2026. #SnackWraps is baaaaack !!!!!!!\u201d the post\u2019s caption reads. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/checkyourfact.com\/2021\/06\/24\/fact-check-mcdonalds-tweet-wouldnt-hire-people-traded-cryptocurrencies\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: Did McDonald\u2019s Send A Tweet Saying It Wouldn\u2019t Hire People Who Have Traded Cryptocurrencies?)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The flyer is digitally fabricated. It does not appear on McDonald\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/corporate.mcdonalds.com\/corpmcd\/our-stories\/press-releases.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">press release webpage<\/a> or in any of the company\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=%22Snack%20Wraps%22%20(from%3AMcDonalds)&#038;src=typed_query&#038;f=live\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">social<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/mcdonalds\/?hl=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">media<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/page\/50245567013\/search?q=%22Snack%20Wraps%22&#038;filters=eyJycF9jaHJvbm9fc29ydDowIjoie1wibmFtZVwiOlwiY2hyb25vc29ydFwiLFwiYXJnc1wiOlwiXCJ9In0%3D\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">posts<\/a>.
