Strikes have recently occurred between Israel and Hamas militants in the Gaza Strip, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aljazeera.com\/news\/2022\/4\/18\/rocket-from-gaza-into-southern-israel-intercepted\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Al-Jazeera<\/a> reported.<\/p>\n<p>The Facebook <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/permalink.php?story_fbid=141035928495221&#038;id=100077664431584\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">video<\/a> shows a crew of people, one with a camera, preparing to film a shot featuring a young boy in a pool of blood on the ground. \u201cThe Palestinians are faking scenes where a child is shot by Israeli soldiers,\u201d reads the video\u2019s caption. \u201cI wish they spent all these resources to promote peace rather than propaganda.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The video does not show a staged shot filmed for propaganda purposes. A reverse image search revealed the video first appeared on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@mohamadawawdeh938\/video\/7089091118482214145?is_copy_url=1&#038;is_from_webapp=v1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">TikTok<\/a> April 21. \u201cBehind the scenes of filming a short film about the story of the child prisoner Ahmed Manasra\u201d the caption reads in Arabic.<\/p>\n<p>The footage appears to show a crew preparing to film part of a 2-minute film titled \u201cEmpty Place,\u201d which was shared on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=t90fUoHd-8A\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">YouTube<\/a> April 18 and shows the same young boy in a lightning bolt T-shirt lying on the ground in a pool of blood.\u00a0A clip from the film was also shared on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/awniesh\/posts\/4898565073562915\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Facebook<\/a> by the film\u2019s director, Awni Eshtaiwe.<\/p>\n<p>The film is based on the true story of Ahmed Manasra, a Palestinian boy who was arrested in 2015 at the age of 13 after he and his 15-year-old cousin stabbed two Israelis, seriously wounding both, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timesofisrael.com\/prosecutor-seeks-12-year-jail-sentence-for-teen-stabber\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Times of Israel<\/a>.
