Fox said that when her 9-year-old son Noah started expressing his desire to wear dresses, she decided to educate him with literature made for and made by transgender individuals.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cI do have a child that suffers,\u201d she said of her son being bullied. \u201cI have a lot of worries about that, because I just wish that humanity was not like this. Although my kid is so brave and my child is so brave and I know that they\u2019ve chosen this journey for a reason. It\u2019s just hard as a mom.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cI bought a bunch of books that sort of addressed these things and addressed a full spectrum of what this is,\u201d she told the publication. \u201cSo from the time they were very young, I\u2019ve incorporated those things into their daily lives so that nobody feels like they are weird or strange or different.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cSome of the books are written by transgender children. Some of the books are just about how you can be a boy and wear a dress; you can express yourself through your clothing however you want,\u201d Fox continued. \u201cAnd that doesn\u2019t even have to have anything to do with your sexuality.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Fox shares Noah and her two other children with ex-husband Brian Austin Green. The pair split, and the \u201cJennifer\u2019s Body\u201d star moved on to an intense and public relationship with musical artist Machine Gun Kelly, whose real name is Colson Baker. They are engaged now.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Fox has long been a supporter of LGBT causes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cI think people are born bisexual and they make subconscious choices based on the pressures of society,\u201d she said in a 2009 <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/classic.esquire.com\/article\/2009\/6\/1\/good-morning-megan\"><span>interview<\/span><\/a><span> with Esquire. \u201cI have no question in my mind about being bisexual,\u201d the actress added.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>In 2019, she asked her followers to speak against legislation in Tennessee. \u201cMy home state of Tennessee is on the verge of passing a \u2018Slate of Hate.\u2019 A slew of anti-LGBTQ bills including business license to discriminate, child welfare and anti-trans bills,\u201d she <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/MeganFox\/photos\/my-home-state-of-tennessee-is-on-the-verge-of-passing-a-slate-of-hate-a-slew-of-\/10156120255690423\/\"><span>shared<\/span><\/a><span> at the time.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>During the most recent interview, the actress also told Glamour UK how the guilt of motherhood plagues her because of her profession.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cI travel for long periods of time and they have to attend school, which is what it is. I wish I could take them out to travel with me, it would make things a lot easier,\u201d Fox said. \u201cI cry often, every new moon usually. I get in the bath and cry a lot about it, because it is hard and not because of pressures that anybody else or society puts on you, but it is just hard being separated from them in that way. They are my DNA.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cIt\u2019s hard to not feel obligated to be with them all the time or to constantly feel like I\u2019m not doing a good enough job, but I\u2019m also separated from their father,\u201d she continued. \u201cSo, I can only have them half of the time. That just is what it is.
