Reed\u2019s parents had <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/03\/30\/joe-biden-says-trying-meet-trevor-reed-parents-russia-jail\/\">recently<\/a> been outside the White House protesting, and met with President Joe Biden on March 30 to <a href=\"https:\/\/abcnews.go.com\/Politics\/parents-trevor-reed-marine-detained-russia-protest-white\/story?id=83761758\">discuss<\/a> their son.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cToday, we welcome home Trevor Reed and celebrate his return to the family that missed him dearly,\u201d Biden said in a statement announcing the news. \u201cTrevor, a former U.S. Marine, is free from Russian detention. I heard in the voices of Trevor\u2019s parents how much they\u2019ve worried about his health and missed his presence.
