Although part of the discrepancy can be attributed to money his wife earned, over $5 million that Biden\u2019s company earned is not listed in the transparency reports.<\/p>\n<p>Joe Biden has asserted that he never discussed his son Hunter\u2019s business dealings with his son, yet emails from Hunter\u2019s laptop show his father agreed to pay Hunter\u2019s legal fees, including a deal with the government-controlled Bank of China.<\/p>\n<p>Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI), who has been investigating Hunter Biden\u2019s business dealings, reacted to the news of the missing millions of dollars, declaring that they are \u201canother disturbing piece of information that raises questions that deserve answers.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA), who is working with Johnson, echoed, \u201cEvidence of the president\u2019s financial and business connections to Hunter continues to grow. It\u2019s imperative for the first family to show the American people the transparency that they deserve.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen will the corporate media start doing their job and ask President Biden these questions?\u2019 Johnson added. \u201cAnd when will President Biden start being honest with the public? The American people deserve the truth.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Other emails on the laptop suggest Joe Biden might have had a 10% share in Hunter\u2019s deal.<\/p>\n<p>Hunter\u2019s assistant Katie Dodge wrote an email in January 2019 to book-keeper Linda Shapero and Biden aide Richard Ruffner saying,\u00a0\u2018I spoke with Hunter today regarding his bills. It is my understanding that Hunt\u2019s dad will cover these bills in the short-term as Hunter transitions in his career.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe assistant attached a spreadsheet of bills with the email, totaling $737,130.61,\u201d The Daily Mail noted, adding, \u201cOne of the last items was $28,000 in legal fees for the \u2018restructuring\u2019 of Hunter\u2019s joint venture with the government-controlled Bank of China. The spreadsheet listed the bill as \u2018Faegre Baker Daniels: BHR Restructuring\u2019 costing $28,382 and due \u2018ASAP.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Between 2017 and 2019 Joe and Jill Biden\u2019s federal tax returns reported $16.5 million in gross income most of which was derived from\u00a0CelticCapri Corp and Giacoppa Corp. Those corporations were related to their for speaking and writing engagements. Yet their\u00a0Office of Government Ethics (OGE) fillings for the same period show them reporting $9.6 million in income.<\/p>\n<p>Joe Biden\u2019s Office of Government Ethics (OGE) filings from 2017-2020 show his CelticCapri Corporation with an income of a total income of $8,065,464.
