The vice president has no symptoms and \u201cwill isolate and continue to work from\u201d her residence, Allen added.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe has not been a close contact to the President or First Lady due to their respective recent travel schedules,\u201d according to the statement. \u201cShe will follow CDC guidelines and the advice of her physicians. Deputy press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/03\/27\/karine-jean-pierre-positive-covid-joe-biden-europe-trip\/\">subsequently<\/a> tested positive as well following an international trip with President Joe Biden.<\/p>\n<p>COVID-19 cases are on the rise once again in the U.S., CBS News <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/video\/covid-19-cases-spiking-again-amid-mask-guideline-confusion\/\">reported<\/a>.
