Their report didn\u2019t confirm if the object was a knife. The victim required stitches.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Ali was identified after the victim managed to follow his assailant out of the bathroom and photograph her car as she fled. Police tracked the vehicle to Ali\u2019s apartment in Maumee, Ohio, a city less than 10 minutes away from the crime scene.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Ali was arraigned on Monday; the court set her bond at $5,000. Another hearing is scheduled for Tuesday.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Stabbings have been frequent in the Toledo, Ohio, area over the last few months.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>A similar stabbing <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.13abc.com\/2022\/04\/15\/tpd-toledo-man-arrested-after-stabbing-woman-fleeing-scene\/\"><span>occurred<\/span><\/a><span> several weeks ago. According to the Toledo Police Department, 43-year-old suspect James Moore allegedly stabbed 42-year-old Sophia Harris. The stab wounds weren\u2019t life-threatening injuries.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Late last month, another Toledo woman was <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.13abc.com\/2022\/03\/21\/tpd-toledo-woman-arrested-stabbing\/?utm_source=twitter&#038;utm_medium=social&#038;utm_campaign=snd&#038;utm_content=wtvg\"><span>arrested<\/span><\/a><span> for allegedly stabbing her male roommate.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>In January, a Toledo mother was arrested for stabbing her two children. As <\/span><i><span>WTOL <\/span><\/i><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wtol.com\/article\/news\/crime\/toledo-mother-accused-of-stabbing-children-dies\/512-34b77d92-2cfd-48ef-8d69-b2c6e6c7ffc0\"><span>reported<\/span><\/a><span>, the mother died while in custody. <\/span><i><span>WTOL <\/span><\/i><span>also reported another domestic stabbing case, in which a 22-year-old Ofari Smith allegedly stabbed the mother of his four children, 33-year-old Whitney Wade, to death.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Shortly after that incident, another Toledo man, 36-year-old Juan Garibaldo, also allegedly stabbed and <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.13abc.com\/2022\/03\/03\/bond-set-1-million-man-charged-with-murdering-woman-he-was-relationship-with\/?utm_source=twitter&#038;utm_medium=social&#038;utm_campaign=snd&#038;utm_content=wtvg\"><span>killed<\/span><\/a><span> his significant other, 39-year-old Sarah Schulte.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>According to the latest crime data from the FBI, the vast majority of Toledo\u2019s violent crimes are either committed using personal weapons or knives\/cutting instruments.
