In their \u201cOur Commitment to Human Rights\u201d document, for example, they declared that they \u201cfeel a deep sense of responsibility to make technology for people that respects their human rights, empowers them with useful tools and information, and enhances their overall quality of life.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>According to the Big Tech giant, such \u201ccommitment\u201d involves \u201csetting the industry standard for minimizing personal data collection,\u201d by building \u201c privacy protections into everything [they] make.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span>Ian Haworth is a writer for The Daily Wire and contributor to Morning Wire.
