Despite mounting evidence that Biden knew of and was involved in his son\u2019s overseas transactions, the corporate media gladly ignored his role in the Biden family business and subdued any evidence suggesting otherwise. <\/p>\n<p>The New York Post <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2022\/04\/23\/joe-biden-met-with-hunter-biden-business-partner-at-the-white-house\/\">reported<\/a> this week that Hunter\u2019s closest business partner Eric Schwerin made nearly 20 visits to the White House and \u201cother official locations\u201d while Biden was vice president and while Hunter was finagling deals with foreign oligarchs in Russia and China. <\/p>\n<p>Most of the meetings were between Schwerin and Joe and Jill Biden\u2019s aides. One of the meetings included Schwerin, who was president of Hunter\u2019s investment fund Rosemont Seneca Partners, and Biden in the West Wing on Nov. 17, 2010. <\/p>\n<p>These Obama-era <a href=\"https:\/\/obamawhitehouse.archives.gov\/goodgovernment\/tools\/visitor-records\">White House visitor logs<\/a> further prove Biden knew that Hunter was using his name and title to seal deals with foreign oligarchs and enrich the Biden family business. <\/p>\n<p>Emails from Hunter\u2019s infamous laptop already signaled that Biden knew about his son\u2019s work and even had relationships with Hunter\u2019s business partners including a Burisma adviser Vadym Pozharskyi. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThank you for inviting me to DC and giving me an opportunity to meet your father and spent [sic] some time together,\u201d Pozharskyi wrote in an email to Hunter in 2015, just a few months before Biden lobbied for the firing of a prosecutor who was investigating Burisma. <\/p>\n<p>It wasn\u2019t until a few weeks ago, however, that the corrupt press bothered to start asking about the president\u2019s connections to his son\u2019s deals.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI have never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings,\u201d Biden <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/story\/news\/politics\/elections\/2019\/09\/21\/joe-biden-never-talked-ukraine-son-trump-needs-investigated\/2401830001\/\">said<\/a> at a Democrat fundraiser in Iowa in 2019.<\/p>\n<p>He repeated his firm denial just a few months later to Axios\u2019s Mike Allen when he asked about Hunter\u2019s position on the board of a Ukrainian energy company. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t know what he was doing. I know he was on the board. \u2026 I trust my son,\u201d Biden, who was visibly angered by the question, exclaimed.<\/p>\n<p>Allen noted that Biden\u2019s response didn\u2019t \u201cpass the smell test.\u201d His apparent skepticism about the Biden family business, however, obviously didn\u2019t carry water with his outlet or any other corporate media organization when the New York Post reported on Hunter\u2019s laptop less than a year later.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed alignwide is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<span class=\"D5wYO0Kaf3QNcJ1oMnVXyl9gemLviBpIhZkj6TtuEzRC7F\"><\/p>\n[embedded content]\n<p><\/span>\n<\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<p>Instead, the corrupt press lied that the laptop was \u201cRussian disinformation\u201d and refused to cover the treasure trove of corruption exposed by emails and documents on the Mac. Big Tech also censored any mention of Hunter\u2019s laptop into oblivion just one month before the November 2020 election. It wasn\u2019t until recently that these same major outlets that refused to cover the bombshell information reported by the New York Post admitted that the <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/03\/17\/after-throttling-the-hunter-biden-laptop-story-with-hacked-and-russian-disinformation-lies-propaganda-press-quietly-admit-it-was-completely-legit\/\">laptop is legit.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>In that same vein, after Biden said he didn\u2019t know anything about Hunter\u2019s business dealings, NBC News journalist Kristen Welker took Biden\u2019s claim that \u201cMy son has not made money in terms of this thing about, talking about China\u201d at face value when moderating the final presidential debate in 2020, and waited another year before she finally asked the White House about the president\u2019s false comments.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDuring the last presidential debate, [Joe] Biden was asked if there\u2019s anything inappropriate or unethical about his son\u2019s relationships, business dealings in China and\/or Ukraine. The president said \u2018nothing was unethical.\u2019 \u2026 Does the White House stand by that comment?\u201d\u00a0she asked last month.<\/p>\n<p>White House Communications Director Kate Bedingfield declined to acknowledge Biden\u2019s lie and instead <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2022\/03\/31\/wh-claims-biden-didnt-lie-about-hunter-at-debate-despite-reporting\/\">defended<\/a> the president and his son. She endorsed Biden\u2019s claim that \u201cnothing was unethical\u201d about Hunter\u2019s complicated dealings and that Hunter \u201chas not made money\u201d off of his transactions with a Chinese Communist Party-controlled company <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/03\/30\/u-s-senators-reveal-ccp-controlled-company-funneled-millions-to-biden-family-to-represent-spy-chief-of-china\/\">despite receipts showing otherwise. <\/a><\/p>\n<p>Why did Welker just recently press the Biden administration about an issue that came up two years ago and again less than a month before a key election? She had the opportunity to push back on Biden directly during the debate but <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/story\/news\/politics\/elections\/2020\/10\/23\/debate-transcript-trump-biden-final-presidential-debate-nashville\/3740152001\/\">she didn\u2019t<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The corporate media is the propaganda arm of the administration, which is why, when Biden dismissed President Donald Trump\u2019s laptop questions during the final debate as Russian disinformation, so did Welker and everyone else in the corrupt media establishment.<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s plenty of evidence that Biden was involved and <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/03\/22\/the-hunter-biden-emails-warrant-a-special-counsel-to-probe-the-big-guy-joe-biden\/\">may have even profited off of<\/a> Hunter\u2019s foreign business dealings but the propaganda press refused to ask the right questions at the right time. They were so wrapped up in fixing the narrative to ensure a Biden victory that they failed to do their jobs and now Americans, many of whom said they would have <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2020\/11\/24\/poll-one-in-six-biden-voters-would-have-changed-their-vote-if-they-had-known-about-scandals-suppressed-by-media\/\">voted differently<\/a> in 2020 if they knew about Hunter\u2019s laptop and the Biden family corruption, are paying for it. <\/p>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\" \/>\n<p>\n  Jordan Boyd is a staff writer at The Federalist and co-producer of The Federalist Radio Hour.
