And although she gets a lot of that out near the farm, she also gets to experience other places\u2014a true blessing. On our most recent visits to New York, she has started to want her sun shade lifted up (something she is used to at home) and helps herself to it!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe doesn\u2019t understand why she\u2019s covered in the city or what I\u2019ve wanted to protect her from,\u201d she added. \u201cI also want her to see the most amazing city in the world + the beautiful and diverse people that walk down the streets of NYC\u2026that is, without the stress of the media circus that comes with parents who are public figures.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt would mean the world to us, as we take our daughter to see and explore NYC and the world, if you would PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE blur her face out of images, if and when she is caught on camera,\u201d the letter continued. \u201cI know it\u2019s an extra effort\u2014but as a new mom, I just want the best for my baby, as all parents do\u2026and I hope this can continue the conversation to protect minors in the media, even if they come from a public family.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>At one point in the HB interview, Hadid also talked about stepping back from work during the early days of the pandemic and while she was pregnant with her first child, Khai Hadid Malik.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAfter COVID, I was so ready to be around friends and people \u2013 and that has definitely brought the romance back into getting ready again,\u201d the model shared. \u201cI spent quarantine out of the city at the farm which was my place to just go and be comfortable \u2013 and of course, I was pregnant.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was definitely a good point in my life to have a break, but I was ready to come back to work again, and you know, serve those looks,\u201d she added, while laughing.<\/p>\n<p>In September 2020, the lingerie model gave birth to her daughter with Malik, the former One Direction star.
