that a judge can overrule the CDC.<\/p>\n<p>In an appearance on CNN+, the failed $300 million streaming service that the cable network <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/media\/execs-pull-the-plug-on-cnn-after-just-23-days\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">dissolved<\/a>\u00a0on Thursday after just 23 days, Fauci reiterated that courts should have no say in public health mandates.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We are concerned about \u2026 courts getting involved in things that are unequivocally public health decisions,&#8221; \u00a0he\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/CBSNews\/status\/1517267411019440128?s=20&#038;t=yOS_TLyPL7lq3_iGbDpEBw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">said<\/a>. &#8220;This is a public health matter, not a judicial matter.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>A federal judge on Monday\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/coronavirus\/masks-on-airplanes-could-soon-be-a-thing-of-the-past\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">blocked<\/a> the CDC&#8217;s mask mandate, and within hours many airlines and public transportation systems across the country announced they would allow passengers to travel maskless.<\/p>\n<p>But the Biden administration has committed to fighting to put the mask mandate back in place.
