REUTERS\/Jim Bourg<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>The paternity documents reportedly included some of Hunter Biden\u2019s tax records, CBS News reported. The subpoena, in addition to demanding \u201call personal and business expenditures,\u201d asked for \u201call federal, state, local and foreign tax documentation related to Biden.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Hunter Biden handed over an \u201caffidavit of financial means\u201d during the paternity suit, Lancaster told CBS News. These tax records \u2013 which have since been handed over to prosecutors \u2013 reportedly coincide with Hunter Biden\u2019s overseas business dealings, Lancaster added.<\/p>\n<p>The paternity lawsuit was settled in 2020, CBS News reported.<\/p>\n<p>Though Hunter Biden is back in the news, the White House is trying to keep its distance from the debacle.
