Fans were quick to point out the hypocrisy of that move as Lorenz just did an interview complaining about online harassment, especially for women.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>CNS News editor Rob Shimshock drew attention to the archive discrepancy on <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ShimshockAndAwe\/status\/1516859398282526720?s=20&#038;t=dS3DDCQ-UoYhLQ_dxzhvFA\"><span>Twitter<\/span><\/a><span>. \u201cTaylor Lorenz\u2019s Twitter feed has been \u2018excluded\u2019 from the Internet Archive Wayback Machine,\u201d he revealed. \u201cInternet Archive\u2019s stated mission is to \u2018provide universal access to all knowledge.\u2019\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Taylor Lorenz&#8217;s Twitter feed has been &#8220;excluded&#8221; from the Internet Archive Wayback Machine.<\/p>\n<p>Internet Archive&#8217;s stated mission is to &#8220;provide universal access to all knowledge.&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/j9CI9aqymt\">pic.twitter.com\/j9CI9aqymt<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Rob Shimshock (@ShimshockAndAwe) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ShimshockAndAwe\/status\/1516859398282526720?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">April 20, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span>When users search for Lorenz\u2019s Twitter page on the site, they receive the message, \u201cSorry. This URL has been excluded from the Wayback Machine.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Meanwhile, the Libs of TikTok Twitter page is available on their site.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>According to <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnsnews.com\/article\/national\/rob-shimshock\/internet-archive-apparently-excludes-taylor-lorenz-who-doxxed\"><span>CNS News<\/span><\/a><span>, as of November 10, 2020, Lorenz had shared more than 16,800 tweets but only has 3,500 on her Twitter page, which could indicate she deleted the majority of her old posts.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Internet Archive\u2019s stated mission is to \u201cprovide universal access to all knowledge.\u201d The site also says people \u201ccan send an email request for us to review to info@archive.org with the URL (web address) in the text of your message\u201d to be excluded from the site. It\u2019s unclear if Lorenz took those actions to have her Twitter omitted from the archive.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Users were able to find the original version of the Post article that included links to personal details using Wayback Machine. Later, Bezos\u2019 publication removed those links after getting called out for endangering a private citizen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cTaylor Lorenz is a diligent and accomplished journalist whose reporting methods comport entirely with the Washington Post\u2019s professional standards,\u201d Cameron Barr, senior managing editor at the Post said in a statement on Tuesday. She went on to claim the paper \u201cdid not publish or link to any details about [the creator\u2019s] personal life.\u201d Wayback Machine helped users see that the original article linked to information about her real estate license which was registered to a specific address.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The Post came under fire for their hit piece on Libs of TikTok, which accused the account of, \u201csecretly fueling the right\u2019s outrage machine.\u201d The account reposts publicly available videos that users often have shared themselves. Lorenz insisted, however, that the creator promoted \u201canti-LGBTQ content\u201d and even that they were responsible for helping influence government policy, including the Parental Rights in Education Bill in Florida.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Fans on Twitter were quick to defend Libs of TikTok and slam Lorenz for the article. They questioned the motives that led her to write the article in the first place.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cThis is the truth. All this account does is amplify left wing voices. That\u2019s it. And the regime media wants to shut it down,\u201d Mike Cernovich shared.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cSo, why is WaPo doxxing @LibsofTikTok? Why isn\u2019t the left proud of what they\u2019ve done to the people she\u2019s exposed? Are they homophobic? Transphobic? Ashamed of kiddie groomers they\u2019ve created? The truth: It\u2019s all because they want to hide the damage they\u2019re doing to America,\u201d Kyle Becker wrote.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>After the piece came out, the Libs of TikTok founder <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/holed-up-in-a-safe-location-libs-of-tiktok-creator-provides-update-on-her-safety-after-being-doxxed-by-washington-post\">provided an update<\/a> on her safety after having her personal information revealed to the entire internet.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cWords cannot express how appreciative I am of the support I\u2019m receiving right now.
