The president then detailed the administration\u2019s intention to <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/04\/19\/joe-biden-administration-likely-appeal-court-ruling-travel-mask-mandate\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">appeal<\/a> a district judge\u2019s decision <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/04\/18\/public-transportation-mask-mandate-covid-coronavirus-overturned-lawsuit\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">overturning<\/a> the Center for Disease Control and Prevention\u2019s (CDC) mask mandate for public transportation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNo, what I\u2019m considering is continuing to hear from my\u2014first of all, there\u2019s gonna be an appeal by the Justice Department because, as a matter of principle, we want to be able to be in a position where if, in fact, it is strongly concluded by the scientists that we need Title 42 that we be able to do that.
