I have to say as a parent, I would have problems with that.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Psaki responded by claiming the Florida Parental Rights in Education law is about prohibiting \u201cgender identity\u201d discussions, not sex education. She then posed a hypothetical, asking what would happen in Florida schools if a child asked about someone having two moms, or if a child said, \u201cI\u2019m not sure if I\u2019m a girl or a boy.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cI mean, these are kids who are experiencing, you know, these moments in their lives,\u201d the Biden spokeswoman said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Psaki is making it a habit to criticize the new Florida law. Earlier this week, she <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/jen-psaki-cries-while-discussing-new-florida-law-says-it-makes-her-completely-crazy\"><span>broke down<\/span><\/a><span> in tears while discussing the same topic with \u201cNew Not Noise\u201d podcast host Jessica Yellen. When asked if the Parental Rights in Education law and similar legislation in other states is a political weapon for Republicans, Psaki agreed.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201c[T]he political games and harsh and cruel attempts at laws, or laws that we\u2019re seeing in some states like Florida, that is not a reflection of the country moving to oppose LGBTQ+ communities,\u201d she said. \u201cThat is not what we see in data, that is not factual, and that is not where things stand. This is a political wedge issue, and an attempt to win a culture war.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>She then broke down in tears when making a bizarre suggestion that the Florida law will result in LGBTQ children being bullied in schools, even though the law simply prevents teachers from instructing 5- to 9-year-olds on gender theories.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cThey\u2019re doing that in a way that is harsh and cruel to a community of kids, especially,\u201d the press secretary said as she began to cry. \u201cI\u2019m going to get emotional about this issue because it\u2019s horrible! But it\u2019s kids who are bullied, and all these leaders are taking steps to hurt them, and hurt their lives and hurt their families! And you look at some of these laws in these states and who\u2019s going after parents who are in loving relationships, who have kids. It\u2019s completely outrageous!
