Frank Mrvan from \u201clikely D\u201d to \u201clean D.\u201d Two Nevada House seats held by Democrats, Reps. Steven Horsford and Susie Lee, moved from \u201clean D\u201d to a \u201ctoss up.\u201d Additionally, New Jersey\u2019s 3rd Congressional District, Rep. Andy Kim\u2019s seat, moved from \u201csolid D\u201d to a \u201clikely D.\u201d New York\u2019s 19th Congressional District, represented by Rep. Antonio Delgado, moved from \u201clikely D\u201d to \u201clean D,\u201d and Virginia\u2019s 7th Congressional District, held by Rep. Abigail Spanberger, moved from \u201clean D\u201d to a \u201ctoss-up.\u201d <\/p>\n<div class=\"Enhancement\">\n<div class=\"Enhancement-item\"><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Two open seats also shifted, with New York\u2019s 4th Congressional District changing from a \u201csolid D\u201d to a \u201clikely D\u201d seat and North Carolina\u2019s 1st Congressional District moving from a \u201clikely D\u201d to a \u201cLean D.\u201d <\/p>\n<p><a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/centerforpolitics.org\/crystalball\/articles\/house-rating-changes-11-moves-all-in-favor-of-republicans\/\">Sabato\u2019s Crystal Ball<\/a> moved 11 seats in favor of Republicans, with Arizona&#8217;s 4th Congressional District moving from \u201clikely Democratic\u201d to \u201cleans Democratic\u201d; California\u2019s 26th Congressional District, represented by Democratic Rep. Julia Brownley, shifting from \u201csafe Democratic\u201d to \u201clikely Democratic\u201d; Rep. Sanford Bishop facing a tougher race with Georgia\u2019s 2nd Congressional District moving from \u201clikely Democratic\u201d to \u201cleans Democratic\u201d; and Illinois\u2019s 13th Congressional District, an open seat, shifting from \u201clikely Democratic\u201d to \u201cleans Democratic.\u201d The political handicapper agreed with Cook\u2019s analysis on shifting Mrvan, Lee, and Delgado\u2019s races. <\/p>\n<p>Four GOP-held seats \u2014 Reps. Bill Huizenga, who represents Michigan\u2019s 2nd Congressional District and is running for reelection in the 4th; Richard Hudson, who holds North Carolina\u2019s 8th Congressional District and is running for reelection in the 9th; Rep. Scott Perry of Pennsylvania\u2019s 10th Congressional District; and Texas 23rd Congressional District Rep. Tony Gonzales \u2014 all shifted from \u201clikely Republican\u201d to \u201csafe Republican.\u201d <\/p>\n<p><b><a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/campaigns\/tennessee-gop-boots-trump-backed-morgan-ortagus-from-primary\">TENNESSEE GOP BOOTS TRUMP-BACKED MORGAN ORTAGUS FROM PRIMARY<\/a><\/b> <\/p>\n<p>The recent changes come shortly after the release of the most recent campaign finance reports and amid low approval ratings for President Joe Biden, which has the potential to sink down-ballot Democrats. <\/p>\n<p>While Democrats have fared better with the new redistricting maps than expected, pending changes to Florida\u2019s redrawn districts in favor of Republicans are likely to make the process a wash. <\/p>\n<p><b><a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/\">CLICK HERE TO READ MORE FROM THE WASHINGTON EXAMINER<\/a><\/b> <\/p>\n<p>Republicans have expressed confidence in their ability to flip the House this cycle.
