But, I was hitting you. It was not punching you.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">Depp is heard on the audio replying, \u201cDon\u2019t tell me what it feels like to be punched.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">\u201cYou\u2019ve been in a lot of fights, you\u2019ve been around a long time,\u201d Heard said. \u201cYou didn\u2019t get punched. You got hit. I\u2019m sorry I hit you like this, but I did not punch you.\u00a0I did not f***ing deck you. I f***ing was hitting you. I don\u2019t know what the motion of my actual hand was.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">\u201cBut you\u2019re fine,\u201d the actress told Depp. \u201cI did not hurt you, I did not punch you, I was hitting you.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">\u201cI\u2019m not sitting here b****ing about, am I? You are. That\u2019s the difference between me and you.\u00a0You\u2019re a f***ing baby,\u201d she added. \u201cYou are such a baby! Grow the f*** up, Johnny.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">\u201cI did start a physical fight,\u201d Heard admitted, before Depp explained why he had to get \u201cthe f*** out of there.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">\u201cYes, you did. You did the right thing, the big thing. You were admirable,\u201d Heard responded.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">LISTEN: The audio recordings of <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/JohnnyDepp?src=hash&#038;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#JohnnyDepp<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/AmberHeard?src=hash&#038;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#AmberHeard<\/a> were played for the jury on Wednesday, where Heard says &#8220;I was hitting you, it was not punching you,&#8221; and called Depp a baby. <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/LawCrimeNetwork?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@LawCrimeNetwork<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/rXiZAp8EVR\">pic.twitter.com\/rXiZAp8EVR<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Law&#038;Crime Network (@LawCrimeNetwork) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/LawCrimeNetwork\/status\/1516856784912363521?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">April 20, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Depp earlier in the week <a href=\"https:\/\/www.npr.org\/2022\/04\/19\/1093476431\/johnny-depp-amber-heard-testimony-libel-lawsuit-domestic-abuse\">testified<\/a> that he \u201cnever\u201d hit \u201cMs. Heard in any way, nor have I ever struck any woman in my life.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m obsessed with the truth, so today is my first opportunity that I\u2019ve been able to speak about this case in full for the first time,\u201d the actor said. \u201cI felt a responsibility of clearing the record.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Before the trial commenced, Heard took to Instagram with a message expressing her \u201clove\u201d for Depp and suggesting the explosive op-ed she penned at The Washington Post wasn\u2019t about her ex-husband after all.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJohnny is suing me for an op-ed I wrote in The Washington Post, in which I recounted my experience of violence and domestic abuse,\u201d the actress <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CcI_qpVP0ZL\/?utm_source=ig_embed&#038;ig_rid=69f4525e-faa7-4274-9bdf-69d33e53e3b3\">wrote<\/a>. \u201cI never named him, rather I wrote about the price women pay for speaking out against men in power.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI continue to pay that price,\u201d Heard claimed, \u201cbut hopefully when this case concludes, I can move on and so can Johnny.
