And while people play buckets of money for the campus experience they\u2019re getting nearly nothing in return. And the report says 25 percent of grads earn less than $30,000 a year. So Greg, is college worth it?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt doesn\u2019t matter if it\u2019s worth it if it\u2019s required in life,\u201d Gutfeld replied. \u201cI mean, a college degree is not meant to give you any knowledge. It\u2019s so \u2014 It\u2019s a signal that gets you into the club, it\u2019s a six-figure cover charge to get you into the bar of life.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s a virtue signal, and it always has been a virtue signal,\u201d Gutfeld continued. \u201cBut now the virtue signal of a BA \u2014 a bachelors degree \u2014 is not enough, so then it\u2019s like, well, this person has a masters, well, this person has a Ph.D. You\u2019re now in an arms race of degrees. And the hangover is you pay it off later.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Gutfeld went on to argue that the important thing was to snap people out of that mindset, saying that trade schools and the military should be seen as <a href=\"https:\/\/dailywire.com\/news\/biden-pushes-free-school-beyond-k-12-twelve-years-is-no-longer-enough\/\">viable and comparable alternatives<\/a> rather than second-or third-tier options.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere\u2019s ways to gain experience in life, so you don\u2019t end up six, seven figures in debt,\u201d Gutfeld added. \u201cAnd by the way, nobody\u2019s paying for it. You\u2019re paying for it. That\u2019s something I would go to war for. Cancel debt? No, no, no, no, no. And everybody who paid their debts would be on my side.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Co-host Judge Jeanine Pirro agreed, saying that she was on Gutfeld\u2019s side already.<\/p>\n<p>Gutfeld has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bizpacreview.com\/2021\/12\/15\/gutfeld-blasts-aoc-fellow-squad-member-tlaib-over-their-student-loan-debt-screw-you-thats-on-you-1176205\/?utm_source=dlvr.it&#038;utm_medium=twitter\">previously lashed out<\/a> at proponents of student debt cancellation, specifically Congresswomen Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) during the December 14, 2021, broadcast of \u201cThe Five.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou know what? Screw you! No one has to pay your damn debt! That\u2019s on <em>you<\/em>!
