transportation. <\/span><span>Judge Kathryn Kimball Mizelle <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/federal-judge-blocks-mask-mandate-for-public-transportation\" class=\"stylish-link\"><span>ruled<\/span><\/a><span> that the Centers for Disease Control\u2019s order stretched its authority beyond the law, and was also \u201carbitrary\u201d and \u201ccapricious\u201d in violation of administrative law.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Cheerleaders for the COVID nanny state proceeded to have an absolute meltdown online after news of the ruling broke. Here are the 5 most unhinged responses from critics of the judge\u2019s ruling.<\/span><b><\/b><\/p>\n<h3><strong>1. \u201cHow Dare a Judge Do the Job of a Judge?\u201d<\/strong><\/h3>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Today a federal judge called it overreach for US health officials to require masks on airplanes &#038; other public transit, and no matter how you feel about masks, you should be really, really concerned that the Courts are effectively taking away power from the federal government.<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Lindsay Sabadosa (@SabadosaMA) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/SabadosaMA\/status\/1516122937086160903?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" class=\"stylish-link\">April 18, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span>This <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/SabadosaMA\/status\/1516122937086160903\" class=\"stylish-link\"><span>tweet<\/span><\/a><span> from progressive Democrat and New Hampshire state legislator Lindsay Sabadosa was widely mocked for its glaring error. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cTaking away power from the federal government\u201d is literally the exact job of the federal judiciary. The judicial system exists for the very purpose of serving as a check on the other branches to ensure that they do not exceed their lawful power, as the CDC\u2019s mandate did.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>There are probably some legitimate legal arguments against the judge\u2019s ruling. Well, you\u2019re a baby killer now, or something.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>First, this take from doctor and COVID alarmist commentator Jeremy Faust is simply not rooted in reality. According to the <\/span><i><span>Wall Street Journal,<\/span><\/i><span> the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/articles\/cdc-covid-19-coronavirus-vaccine-side-effects-hospitalization-kids-11626706868\" class=\"stylish-link\">death rate for children<\/a> without a serious pre-existing condition such as leukemia (who have always been vulnerable even to the flu) is 0%.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Yes, <\/span><i><span>zero percent.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span>What\u2019s more, concerned parents are still completely able to have their children wear an N-95 mask to protect them. And, as countless industry experts have explained, airplanes are extremely well filtered and are actually one of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.based-politics.com\/2022\/02\/25\/rand-paul-will-force-senate-vote-to-repeal-federal-travel-mask-mandate\/\" class=\"stylish-link\">safest possible places<\/a> from COVID-19 spread.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>And the mask mandate was mostly fulfilled by people wearing useless cloth masks and people constantly took them down to eat peanuts and sip Coke. It wasn\u2019t protecting kids in any meaningful way in the first place.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>So, this line of attack is just pure demagoguery.\u00a0<\/span><b><\/b><\/p>\n<h3><b>3. \u201cNo Masks, No Wedding!\u201d<\/b><\/h3>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">One of my patients tearfully told me she\u2019s cancelling her flight to her daughter\u2019s (outdoor) wedding on Saturday. Is it now \u201cwoke\u201d to dismiss young(ish) women when they disagree with progressive policies? That\u2019s a silly ad-hominem, not a real argument.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>What\u2019s more, the judge isn\u2019t deciding whether air passengers must wear masks. She\u2019s returning that choice to the passengers and airlines themselves, where it always belonged. If anything, the judge is simply removing an override of their decision-making.
