Just weeks ago, Obama <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/biden-administration\/marthas-vineyard-resident-waltzes-freely-into-west-wing\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">celebrated<\/a> the passage of his signature 2010 health care bill, the Affordable Care Act, at the White House with Biden.<\/p>\n<p>Democrats have expressed concern over Biden&#8217;s potential 2024 run. Nevada governor Steve Sisolak (D.) in February said Biden <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/biden-administration\/dem-governor-not-sure-biden-should-seek-reelection\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">should reconsider<\/a> running a second time, citing the toll a first term has taken on the president. Biden&#8217;s poll numbers have remained low since he took office, <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/biden-administration\/bidens-poll-numbers-take-a-nosedive-again\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">bottoming out<\/a> for a second time this year at 33 percent last week.<\/p>\n<p>Americans have also expressed concern over a second Biden term. In September, a majority of voters <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/politics\/joe-biden-mentally-unfit\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/politics\/joe-biden-mentally-unfit\/&#038;source=gmail&#038;ust=1650467247290000&#038;usg=AOvVaw1pib8ND4fAlFlFYiT84YRI\">said<\/a> he was &#8220;too old&#8221; to be commander in chief. Biden will turn 82 in November 2024. A <i>Washington Free Beacon\u00a0<\/i>poll last year found a majority of voters in a contested Texas district <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/politics\/biden-dementia-poll\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/politics\/biden-dementia-poll\/&#038;source=gmail&#038;ust=1650467247290000&#038;usg=AOvVaw3t5ypqZds0Myc1c7OPvkm0\">were skeptical<\/a> the president was mentally fit to serve.<\/p>\n<p>Biden&#8217;s tenuous bid for reelection is complicated by members of his cabinet, such as Vice President Kamala Harris and Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, who <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/columns\/fight-night-kamala-v-pete\/\">have signaled<\/a> they are ready to run in 2024.<\/p>\n<p>Obama was not encouraging during Biden&#8217;s previous run.
