That\u2019s a champ right there. F***in\u2019 Gasc\u00f3n,\u201d gang member Luis Angel Hernandez said of Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gasc\u00f3n in a jailhouse phone call, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/media\/convicted-murderer-gascons-name-tattoo-audio\">according to\u00a0audio obtained by Fox News<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Gasc\u00f3n barred prosecutors from applying \u201cenhancements\u201d that increase sentences based on the crime in almost all cases shortly after he took office, <a href=\"https:\/\/da.lacounty.gov\/media\/news\/district-attorney-gascon-outlines-accomplishments-from-first-year-in-office\">claiming<\/a> he has saved the district \u201cmillions of dollars in prison-related costs.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Hernandez had faced enhancements not only for being a gang member, but also for the \u201cspecial circumstance\u201d in which he committed murder during an armed robbery and for using a firearm in commission of a crime, according to Fox.\u00a0He had faced life in prison without the possibility of parole.<\/p>\n<p>But because of Gasc\u00f3n\u2019s policy, his enhancements were dropped, the publication reported.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis s*** looking real good,\u201d the convicted murderer said in the phone call obtained by Fox, praising Gasc\u00f3n\u2019s policies. \u201cNow we got a new DA in LA \u2026 so they\u2019re going to drop a gang of, um, like my gun enhancement, my gang enhancement. My gang enhancement is 10 years, fool, for being a gang member. And then the gun in the commission of a crime.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s the n***** right there, bro,\u201d he continued. \u201cHe\u2019s making historic changes for all of us, fool. I\u2019m just grateful, fool. Like, I got good news off that s***.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey\u2019re like, \u2018You\u2019re coming home, blood.\u2019 They already told me, my lawyer told me, \u2018You\u2019re coming home,\u2019\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"speakable\">During an armed robbery in 2018, Fox reported, Hernandez, a member of the OTF gang, shot and killed a delivery person who worked for a marijuana delivery service.<\/p>\n<p class=\"speakable\">He pleaded guilty to both murder and personal use of a firearm, according to Fox.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA robbery can be a purse snatch with no injury, or it can be a gun in your face,\u201d L.A. deputy district attorney Michele Hanisee told Fox. \u201cSentencing enhancements make sure that the perpetrator of the first and the perpetrator of the second are treated differently.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This is not the first time that a criminal has been recorded praising Los Angeles\u2019s chief prosecutor and his lax policies.<\/p>\n<p>Fox <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/us\/transgender-ca-woman-molesting-sentenced\">published audio in February<\/a> of a biologically male, pedophilic convicted sex offender (who identifies as a transgender woman) gloating while discussing the light punishment handed down for molesting a little girl in a woman\u2019s bathroom.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m gonna plead out to it, plead guilty,\u201d the pedophile, who goes by the name Hannah Tubbs, says in one recording. \u201cThey\u2019re gonna stick me on probation, and it\u2019s gonna be dropped, it\u2019s gonna be done, I won\u2019t have to register, won\u2019t have to do nothing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou won\u2019t have to register?\u201d asked the criminal\u2019s father, according to Fox, to which the pedophile replied,\u00a0\u201cI won\u2019t have to do none of that.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo what are they going to do to you then,\u201d the father asked.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNothing,\u201d the pedophile replied with a laugh.<\/p>\n<p>The L.A.
