However, the show&#8217;s ratings have been very much failing to meet expectations so far. \u00a0<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section data-v-f313b7e6=\"\">\n<p>Stewart&#8217;s competition is doing much better, and people were expecting the show to perform on par with <a href=\"https:\/\/thepostmillennial.com\/john-olivers-attempt-to-smear-a-critical-race-theory-critic-backfires-spectacularly\">John Oliver&#8217;s similarly-themed &#8220;Last Week Tonight&#8221; show,<\/a> which apparently pulls in close to a million viewers per episode on average. <\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section data-v-f313b7e6=\"\"><\/section>\n<section data-v-f313b7e6=\"\">\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2022\/04\/18\/jon-stewarts-new-show-on-appletv-is-a-reportedly-a-flop\/?utm_source=twitter_sitebuttons&#038;utm_medium=site%20buttons&#038;utm_campaign=site%20buttons\">According to the <em>New York Post,<\/em><\/a> &#8220;The show&#8217;s first episode was seen by just 180,000 US homes in the first week it debuted last fall, measurement firm Samba TV said.
